When playing games online, how does your skill level compare to the people you play against?

In theory, it should end up being a bell curve or similar. Everyone thinks they're awesome.

It appears more people have acknowledged they suck right now than bluffed that they're good.
I'll admit I picked the top one, though. I do rarely lose games when I play online.

It is all politics still, H-Town just struck the right chords with the judges at State Finals I suppose. I mean, you can march a technically perfect show (perfect formations, perfect movement from set to set, no tonal dissonance, 100% clean drumline, everyone is always in-step) but if the show sucks then you're doomed from the start.

It's weird but it's what Riot and I did in high school so we have views and opinions on the subject. I mean really anything that is artsy and presented in a competitive fashion (debate club, marching band, show choir, gymnastics, etc.) is going to have politics and bullshit based on how the judges feel at the time. There is nothing purely objective about marching band at all so it boils down to politics.

Sports are manly and objective with clear-cut winners and losers so that's why they get to bang the chicks in high school, smoke all the weed, and slang the most caine.
