Well whatever, it was the same players/characters in grand finals and I think the matches might be better in grand finals too. There was a top 4 match between Tom Brady's Aquaman and some dude's Doomsday (a Hulk-like grappler) that was pretty hype too. Might pick up a cheaper used copy soon since there is a gamestop trade in promotion going on.

Watched a tutorial on this game. Looks pretty fun.

Cheetah doesn't work, you can select it but it actually doesn't do anything. Compare Cheetah speed to whatever the double-arrow speed is - they are the exact same.

I watched some Lex Luthor combo video yesterday and the game looked like it has the unfortunate "you're fighting on the fucking moon" feel to it a la Street Faita 4.

That's because Lex is like the biggest, clunkiest, slowest moving character. Like I said it's no Marvel but it's pretty fast for most characters. I'm just trying to get used to attack strings... like you hit your strings or parts of a combo kinda preemptively and it comes out so timing takes a bit of getting used to. there's not as much hit confirming at all.

Speaking of EA, just posted this on Facebook, but it's kinda an interesting little (well, not so little... it's kinda long) video about the game industry and how companies like EA might lead to another crash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Okay so I am furious with LittleBigPlanet karting right now. There is this stupid trophy where you have to win 25 DIFFERENT levels in at least one other online human player in it. What is frustrating about this is 1. the player pairing system is just messed up 2. you are constantly getting thrown into user made levels which are complete pieces of crap, and 3. every 30 minutes the game crashes... completely... gag I hate this game but I am inches away from getting it platnium'd.
