Hope it gets better Potter. Holla if you need anything.
Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
same specialist GI guy, over the past year and a half I've had insane constant hunger and fatigue leading to a ton of weight gain, so he ran some blood tests a bit ago and found I have twice as much insulin as you're supposed to, which just eats up all the sugar you feed your body regardless of how much you eat, leading to all the fun symptoms of hypoglycemia. hunger, fatigue, headache, sleep forever, etc. The only thing that really causes that much insulin in an otherwise healthy person is this little insulin secreting pancreatic tumor, an insulinoma. So he ordered a special endocrine MRI and they found it, And yeah, pancreatic stuff is no joke. a malignant insulinoma is what killed steve jobsMerk wrote:God damn, Potter, I'm glad the tumor is benign since pancreatic bullshit is what kills the fastest and indiscriminately.
How did they find it? Did you go to a different doctor?

Potter, you were always awesome to talk to so hearing about your continued health issues is very disheartening. I sincerely hope for the best for you man.
As Merk asked how people are doing, may as well talk. I started my job and will be adjusting my location to reflect that. I enjoy my job as it is by far the best I have ever been paid and easily the best I've been treated. (Then again, that's easy to do given who I used to work for.) While my private life has had some major changes in the last few months, I have seen that in the end everything has worked out to where things are mostly better in the long run.

While we're on work chat I got a pay bump. I am making 45k now and still severely being underpaid!

Cool, what kind of software? Do you tighten up the graphics on level 3?

I have been in Kentucky for the most part of a week now, but my business trip is almost done. Does anyone here need some Le Ale 8 1's brought back to Indy, if so please try to PM me (so I get a e-mail notification) or respond to me on Facebook (more preferred). I know some of you like that stuff so might as well take advantage of the opportunity if you want. Just need to be compensated for the cost of the soda at time of delivery or be PayPal'd in advance (especially if you want larger quantities).

I follow my old employer on Facebook and they have honestly the most face-wrenching corporate FB statuses:
"You make a substantial investment when you implement SharePoint. Is your workforce effectively utilizing the solution? We can train you how. "
"How do you take an idea, leverage a toolset and turn it into actionable information? Our very own Michael Carper can show you how with this illuminating video he created for the Microsoft Business Intelligence Power BI Demo Contest."
"Helping people realize the full benefits of the cloud with Windows Azure = another great morning at the office."
"The HA Exchange 2013 Test Drive invites participants to discover how their organization can benefit from the flexibility and security of a dedicated Exchange environment, combined with the power and efficiency of the global Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities delivered by Amazon Web Services."
And I didn't have to look very hard to find these

Exactly!

Consulting buzzwords. Use 3 of the following for success.
Robust, dynamic, performance, evidence-based, leverage, competitive advantage, intrinsic.

A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.
