Played Holic and got 13 greats and 1 miss
Played Hysteria and didn't come close to AAing it sooooooo I'm gonna have to do a redo for that song. My fat ass can't handle quick jumps like I used to and by God if there's one thing Hysteria 2001 heavy doubles has it's quick jumps.
I'll play again tonight (!) and see if I can get On The Jazz taken care of.

Hooray! Welcome back.
I actually haven't played yet this week. I mowed the lawn for the first time this year on Sunday. I have an old-fashioned (though not old...just bought it last year) reel mower, so there's actually a fair amount of physical effort involved. I left the grass kind of long last year and I probably should have mowed it a week earlier. By Sunday it was quite tall and thick and made it really hard to cut with a reel mower. My body is still sore!
Oh well. Enough excuses! I'm looking forward to trying Hysteria 2001 soon.

Man, lawn chat, Chad's lawn is pretty bad too. The little dip in the back part of his lawn before it turns into that field hasn't been touched yet this year. It's normally a pain in the ass to mow anyway but in it's current state it's going to be a real, real, real ass pain in the ass.
I feel like lawns are a house's way of telling a home owner, "Hey, why do you for real leave my innards for a little bit and get outside like a normal human being?"

Chad's lawn, where the men are manly, the women are well-kept, and the children are above average.

In general, I'll more the lawn when the neighbors complain and I'll water it I'd I think it's going to catch on fire.
This is not actually true, but it's how I feel about it. I hate that I even have a lawn and I'll go outside when they build walls around it and put a roof over it.

I am going to be out next week since I'll be in New Orleans for work so I won't be able to do any additional catch-up for a bit, I still need to do the following on Supernova:

Hysteria 2001
My Extreme is still kind of shitty and I need to work on the pads so it will be a bit before I can tackle the two Extreme songs

I did that thing again where I chose a chart without actually having any familiarity with it. Hysteria 2001 is pretty tricky! I kind of expected it though since it's one of the special Oni course songs from MAX2. Anyway, I just played it and got a 45 + 9NC.
Here's the part where I make excuses... I was at Kings Island all day today and played a bunch of Pump on Friday night into Saturday, so my legs are kind of shot. I'd like to take another crack at Hysteria 2001 in a couple days to see if I can improve it some. If nothing else, I'd like to get an FC on it. It's a tough sight read, but I think an FC is within my reach now that I have at least seen the chart.

This reminds me that I really need to go back and see if I can beat Pop 8 some time. I've gotten very close but never cleared it on either single or double.

Well, I was going to get involved, but (I apologize for invoking this meme) then I took years of wear and tear to the knee.
All joking aside, I am currently seeing a doctor about getting my left knee fixed and once that is dealt with, I will start playing again.

As usual, I played the other day and then didn't post about it.
I managed to get a 27 +2NC on Hysteria 2001. I also got 35 +1NC, but I wasn't able to get an FC. I'm sure I can do it. I just always seem to brain fart and get something backward or whatever.
Anyway, I may try again the next time I play, but Merk...it's your turn to pick a song.

God damn I think I gained about 10 pounds in New Orleans, I ate like an asshole. I feel like I need to play some Did every day this week to make up for it.
Anyway, how does Electro Tuned (the SubS mix) sound?
