I am seeking a caring, understanding and honest man. And that is why I have just one question, maybe it's you ?
That's a pretty good one-liner.

Lol, I can't get over how upset merk is over a game he doesn't even own. I'm 99% sure on IRC earlier I actually got him to google "simcity problems" to come up with rebuttals. I understand poor people have to base their opinions on snappy anti-drm articles to make their gaming decisions, but for the people that buy a game for the fun of it, it's been amazing. I haven't had this much fun for a long time. To get the scenarios above you have to purposefully design roads in a loop, and then cut off the entry to keep them circling. The people who don't own the game keep complaining about issues, issues people who own the game, myself included, have never experienced? lol, internet

Who said I didn't own it?
Potter, I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that there's no exit road for all these loops when clearly in each of these .gifs there is an entry / exit. The pathfinding is awful in this game. Trying to lay out roads in any sort of way that resembles the real world just results in horrible clusterfucks. Sims always try to take the shortest path first even if there is a faster, less congested, route.
Here is something I want you to do Potter:
Make a high density road in the shape of a semi-circle or a "U" or whatever you want to call it.
Place a dirt road that runs straight through the semi-circle and closes it off
Watch as your sims slobber all over themselves like retards because they're not smart enough to take a longer, albeit faster, route
Here's a helpful diagram in case my instructions aren't clear
Please post your own .gif / screenshot / YouTube of your results
I love how http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-d0b41H-Lnk literally shows sims bumbling along and willingly walking into the people vortex so that it gets bigger and bigger. No fancy pants road engineering or any thing done on the player's part to make this happen - the pathing is just so god damn bad that the AI thinks that walking around in a circle is a good thing to do.
