need some advice

As much as everyone seems to hate Arka, I actually find a lot of things she writes as amusing. I think she makes some good points. I just think maybe she's misunderstood a little. I dunno.

Ok, here's my question, why does everyone hate her so much? I mean, I get the main jist, but I want to hear everyone's personal annoyances with Arka.

She has no sense of humor, ruins every joke we had going, when she dos try to make her own jokes they are embarassing, she adds nothing here including any humor, shes annoying, and should be stoned publicly

I disagree (with Potter) completely.

I think she appears to take things seriously because she responds with intelligent, yet sarcastic replies when only a stock quip is expected. I think people miss the sarcasm as a result (as sometimes happens with Casey's humor on the other end of the spectrum).

So basically, her humor is a high-brow contrast to the run-of-the-mill around here while Casey is a caustic contrast. In either case, when it is misunderstood it is unappreciated by those who misunderstand it and the negativity ensues.

Personally, she makes me laugh. Casey does not. Well, he does make me laugh IRL, but his forum comments usually evoke more of a groan.

But seriously, she may be being sarcastic, but this is the internet. Sarcasm has a hard time going through the internet, and lets tack on the fact that very few members know her, so we don't know her "humor". Frankly, I'm in no hurry to get to know it.

I'll admit, she had a few damn good posts, but after that long back and forth of PMs we had, I really lost any respect for her. She was still all worked up about the whole napalm incident, but then complains that we as a forum can't take a joke and decipher her humor. Get real. She was just really condescending the whole time, and I didn't dig that at all.

EDIT: Felt like adding moar.

Ive actually seen much worse... sometimes to the point when i actually wonder if someone wasnt just typing in random things. (of course im not very good at reading 'normal' im types of things either)

Eh, it was my fault for starting the napalm shit...I didn't think it would drag on much past that. As far as everything else, maybe I do appreciate her sense of humor because I do joke like that. But, I understand the whole "misunderstanding" humor on the internet because I do the same thing. I dunno, I do miss her posts. If no one else does, I do. lol.

Hahaha, and yeah, Potter your language is hard to follow. You speak a language of its own. lol.

Casey is actually really cool IRL. They thing is that he says the same stuff IRL, but you def realize his humor.
