Unwound tonight with a little DDR.

I played Last Message a few times and got down to 10 greats. One of those was the very last step, so I just missed an SDG. Oh well...it's a 642 oni score.

I decided to give Colors another go. I got it down to 20 greats. That happens to also make an oni score of 642. Neat.

Gonna play tonight, for real!

Now that the CCNA is over with I really don't have a whole lot going on to occupy my time. I think now my life goals should be to lose some fucking weight and get a BemaniPC for IIDX up and running.

I played Synchronized Love at the end of a set and was absolutely gassed so I ended up giving up in the middle of the song. I was scoring pretty well too but I couldn't handle all the turny pad-stretching stuff in the middle. Speaking a pad-stretching stuff, I played Dam Dariram (never got around to playing it on X3) and goodness gracious is that a weird chart - I honestly did not think any chart had you go from 2P Down to 1P Down in quick succession.

I went to check how our scores compared in the table and I found that I was temporarily dyslexic on Monday. I had entered my scores for Last Message and Colors as 624 instead of 642. I have fixed it. That means we're tied on Last Message.

On Colors, however, you indicated you got 9 greats. Compared to my 20, you should be crushing me on oni score. But the table indicates otherwise. I suspect you forgot to add your freezes into Stay On Sync. You might want to check that. I've made that error myself.

Also, pick a song for this week.

As for this week's song -- how about Insertion? I played that yesterday and thought that the chart was different enough from its singles counterpart to be interesting and fun enough to be enjoyable.

Alright, played some more again today (two days in a row!!) and got 22 FC on Insertion. I could do better but I wanted to play around on some other charts so I figured 22 greats was good enough for now.

Played Synchronized Love as my first doubles chart of the day and still couldn't manage to play through it without getting exhausted. The part right after the song goes "Let's go!" in the middle is what kills me, that turny transition from the 1P side to the 2P side is pretty hard!

Other than that I did some random singles crap - 2 greats on the Do It Right remix and for my last set of the day I played the From IIDX oni course and was able to make it to Burning Heat. Oni courses are damn tough when you're fat as shit and can't take a 30 second break between songs! And to think that back in the day I would play courses all the damn time...

I suppose we can schedule another song for this week. If nothing gets scheduled then I could use this week to catch up if you'd like. I am probably going to play Tuesday and Wednesday since that worked out pretty well for me last week.

Gonna play tonight. I was feeling kind of shitty so I didn't play on Tuesday / Wednesday but I do plan on playing today before the ol' footbaw game.

I have been...not paying attention to IndyDDR this past week while I've been on vacation. There are 16 threads with new posts. It almost feels like old times on IndyDDR for me...at least for this morning.
