Yeah I'll admit I have been a huge fuckup when it comes to DDR and I haven't played in about 6 weeks. Beet has really been grabbing my attention lately because I feel like that when I inevitably get a house, the ladyfriend moves in with me, and once I start studying for the CCNP and beyond I will literally never have time for Beet again. This is sort of my last "Beet hurrah" YA KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'?

I apologize for not making it to your thing. I love the singles chart for My Sweet Darlin' and I would like to play the doubles chart! It has to be good, right?! Unless there's some miracle I probably won't be playing this week since I am leaving for Fort Wayne Wednesday afternoon and I have the rest of the week off to spend with family and shi. Tonight is really my only night to play and boy howdy am I going to be spending time with my new Beet toy.


If you do have a disc that you'd like to give me with a DDR mix on it then Chad will gladly act as a mule between you and I! I'll install any mix!

1998 - 1 try - 17 greats and 1 miss
Silent Hill - 10 tries - 12 greats and 2 (I swear to God) pad misses. I played it a bunch because I kept getting random misses and I wanted a full combo. I eventually got a full combo but it was with 20 greats :/

I played My Sweet Darlin' and boy oh boy you weren't kidding that song is a lot harder than it looks! Lots of quick pad changes from the 1P down arrow to the 2P left arrow and vice versa

Welcome back! I played last night, too.

I gave My Sweet Darlin' a quick run through at the 22, November shindig. I don't recall what my score was then...I think it was 20-30 greats and a handful of NCs. I played it 6-8 times last night (I didn't really count). It took me 3 tries to get the full combo. That was with 26 greats. I was feeling pretty good about it at that point, so I gave it few more tries and eventually got it down to 14. Stay On Sync did the math for me and says that's a 486.

For Silent Hill, I also really wanted the full combo. I think it took me 3-4 tries to get it as I'd keep missing a step in random places. They weren't pad misses...just brain farts or me hitting metal instead of a panel. Once I got the FC, I just played a few more times to get the great count down. I can't remember if I kept rushing or lagging, but once I got dialed in on the tempo I eventually got down to 14 on that song also. SOS says that's a 522.

PS - I decided to get out my Vibram FiveFingers to play last night. They seemed to do really well for me. My scores were better and I felt a lot less tired than the last few times I've played (although the songs were probably less demanding, too). I never claimed that refund/rebate/settlement or whatever on them. I don't really care if the courts decided that their marketing folks are a bunch of clowns. I actually do like the shoes. Actually, they're less like shoes and more like feet++.

I went ahead and did the math for you and updated the OP. I took your NC score for Silent Hill since it was higher than the FC.
