Post the file, there are tons of versions of most all songs lol, it's hard to know which one you're talking about.

From what I know, only the beta version of 4.0 is released. I can't download anything other than 3.0 FINAL because my computer isn't exactly up to date.

Lately on Stepmania I have been using the PUMP attachment file, it's way more fun than the DDR I'll say that right now.

This release has LOTS of bugs in it. Stick with 3.9 (or earlier) for now.
