If ive read right, doesnt sn have tougher timing windows and requirments for certain grades?

Actually the machine is much better now that they supposedly synced it and stuff. I've definitely noticed a difference. Before they synced the machine, I was doing terrible on songs that I should be pwning. As far as the grading system goes, I have no idea if it's more precise, if that's what you are saying. I'm actually not quite sure what you mean, but I'm pretty sure the rating system is about the same?

Off subject, I hate the fact that a superNOVA "boo" is the equivalent of an Extreme "miss" Maybe if the ratings stayed the same, it would be cool. But the boo and miss thing kinda confuses me now : x

4 new AAs, and lots of new machine records.

AAs:
Honey Punch- 30-ish greats?
Wookie Wookie - 31 greats, 1 good
A Stupid Barber - 9 greats
Love At First Sight - forget my great score

Golden Sky - 7 greats
Centerfold - 8 greats, with a new machine record :-)

Other machine records:
R3 - A
321 Stars - A
#1 on Sunny Days Non-Stop
#1 on R&B Non-Stop

Is there any way to tell if you set a machine record without re-playing the song to see who has the score?

Ive read that the timing window is smaller. And getting an AA is harder. ^_^

All I know is that when you get a new record, it says in the side corner "It's A New Record!" in a little spinny spirally thingie.

MROW~~ teh keety has spoken

Yes, I haven't bragged in a while....to be honest, there hasn't been much to brag about....but I have gotten a few new SuperNOVA AAs since last time I posted. I think I had already AAed Centerfold, but at the DDR-A-Thon, when I did it to qualify I got 8 greats on it, and then when I played it during the competition, I got 5 greats on it. I think I've also AAed Honey Punch a while back, and Wookie Wookie too? I forget if I have already posted those AAs, I've been bad about posting lately. I've been really busy :-(

But I think I did fairly well at the competition, and I'm so happy that I got to compete!

ZOMG Ho needs to put a brag post up about his incredible freestyle he did with ShammerS!!! MAD PROPS go out to you two!!!

LOL, sorry about the title, I couldn't resist to steal the attention whore's shine :-P

In all reality I am kidding, and I'm sure that Flakk could easily kick my ass anyday at Pump (and DDR on a good day  )

Eh, I have a brag for today. Mike and I just had a home ITG battle...ok...so like last year, when Mike first got the home version of ITG, he played Land of the Rising Sun, and got a 94% on it. Well, I eventually played it like a few months later...probably earlier this year, and got a 95% on it, beating his old score. Well, tonight, we had a gruelling battle for the Land of the Rising Sun record.

It took Mike 2 tries to beat my record with a high 95%, knocking out my other score. So, I was like, "Fuck that shit, I'mma beat it again!" So, I played it again, and instantly won my record back with a low 96%. So, I was liek w00t w00t!

Then, Mike was all like, "Fuck that shit, I'mma beat it!" So, then he played it again, and I think it took him another 2 tries to break it with a 97%. So, I was liek, "OH NOEZ! Eh, fuck that shit anyways, I'mma beat it so bad it will take you like a MILLION tries to beat it." So, I played it like 2 times, the first time I did really bad, I messed up in a part for some reason. But, on my second try, I ended up getting a 98%!!! And I was like FUCK YEAH DOUBLE STAR!!! And then we quit. Probably because Mike is intimidated by my mad DDR skillz :-P

Hahaha, sorry you guys, I was just having fun...and I was feeling a little competitive so yeah.

DOUBLE POST:

Forgot to mention, played some SuperNOVA today, got some more AAs.

*True <3 Love
*Polvatsian Dance and Chorus
*Dive (more deep & deeper style) - I had to get revenge on this song, after losing to it at the DDR-A-Thon.
*Happy(star)Angel

OMFG, somehow, when I played yesterday, I shut off the PS2 before the songs scores were recorded, and it ended up deleting like all the scores...and the unlocked songs and mods....everything. So, Mike and I have to start from scratch all over again to break all the records and unlock everything. I was so mad....but it did give me opportunity to get some good scores.

98% on Land of the Rising Sun (again) and Solina Hard.

...and pretty much 90% or higher on other 7 and 8 footers that I can't think of right now. With the exception of Tell Hard (85%)...I didn't get anything under like 91%

I REALLY like Oasis Hard....it's pretty fun, I like the beat of it.
