Well, should I go through all the DDR mixes and F6 every song? I think that's the command to set up autosync.

I'd rather you didn't. I really want to find a way to sync packs, not songs. Auto-sync's problem is that it syncs to how people play. Back in the day, people would auto-sync Stepmania on the Cobalt Flux pad, then rush the shit out of the song making the problem just as bad as before. To get the DWIExtreme packs synced, I'd play a bunch of songs on their most basic difficulty before averaging that number and setting the global offset. I guess it doesn't matter since the window is friggen huge, but I'd still rather keep auro-sync off unless the song was downloaded as a one off.

OK, I will just play the game, as requested.

Played this week's song last night. It's not terribly difficult, but the gradual speed up through the second half of the song (at least it seems like it just keeps getting faster) makes it a little challenging to PA. I didn't try very hard and ended up with 54 greats for a DP of 542.

MERK! You are so far behind on this. :(

C'mon, let's get on it!

New week, new song...

How about IRRESISTIBLEMENT? No real reason other than maybe knocking out the "new" Extreme songs that are not PS, PSM, and Legend of MAX.

I would still really like to switch mixes at some point and play some of the older stuff that got dropped along the way.

Yeah I'll admit I'm a huge fuckup. Life has pretty much been work, study, go home, make food, possibly play Beet, sleep. There's been a little bit of racquetball mixed in there as well. Maybe with daylight savings time gone I'll have more energy in the latter part of the day.

Despite being a fuckup I haven't *gained* any weight thanks to a tiny bit of "dieting" and by dieting I mean, "Don't eat like a fuck for EVERY meal"

I'd like to maybe install 5th or something like that and play shit like No Limit, Movin' On, 17Sai and all that other bo.

In any case, Irresistiblement will be what we'll play for this week. I'll make an honest effort to play tomorrow. I might have racquetball tonight, my buddy forgot what day he signed up for this week and he's going to give the gym a call later today.

Played a teeny bit last night. I gave Irresistiblement 3 tries. Got a B the first two times and an A the last time. I called it good enough for the night. 61 greats and some NCs. DP of 567.

Played a bit on the Stepmania cabinet on a whim yesterday (didn't get home until later, more work/study bocrap is keeping me at the office late) and had some fun playing 5th mix stuff. Man there were a lot of really catchy licenses on that mix.

"Be together, be together," cries the music
Say you love me, say you love me
All night long
Be together be together, hold me tight
Shake, shake my soul

Yes, exactly! This is why I've been trying to get you to install another mix for months. :)

If you need help, I probably can.

I'll need to burn a disc for 5th and I am assuming that the unlock process is more or less the exact same as Extreme? Hell I think I have one of MonMotha's 5th mix discs laying around somewhere, maybe he took it back when he moved his cabinet to the garage, I dunno I'd have to check!

Let me see what I can do about getting caught up before making the switch.

Played a shload of DDR this morning. (I haven't gone to bed yet.)

Since I was gone this week and we didn't pick a new song, I decided to start at the top of the table (after the LONG ASS BREAK) and try to improve scores on songs where you were beating me. It took a lot of tries of each one, but I was able to take the lead in 5 out of the 6 songs I tried.
  • Absolute improved from 577 to 585.
  • AM-3P stayed at 471. That's 9 greats. I couldn't do any better. You're still winning this one.
  • Do It Right improved from 546 to 560. This is a new SDG with 8.
  • I Do I Do I Do improved from 529 to 530. We were tied on this one and now I lead by 1 DP. This was 10 greats, so SDGs will be required to compete on this song.
  • La Copa De La Vida improved from 413 to 418. This is 4 greats. I don't recall getting a lower great count on any other song. Maybe this is my record? I know this is a song a lot of people AAA. Maybe one day I will, too.
  • On The Jazz improved from 625 to 630. This one is pretty tricky. Lots of syncopation.
So there's that. I met my step goal before 7am. I had such a poor showing while I was on vacation. Hopefully I can make up for it this weekend. Maybe I can get the 25,000 badge today.

How the fuck do you get no sleep and still manage to function? It is 12:22am right now (just got home from Bloomington) and I am dreading the fact that I am not going to get enough sleep to live through tomorrow.

I sleep. I average about 6 hours. 5 is doable. Less than that and I'll be dragging pretty bad, too.

Also, naps are a good thing! :)

Played some more last night to try to close the gap on Chad in the weekend challenge (even though I knew I couldn't beat him by the time I started). I continued down the list to try and beat more of your scores.

It looks like I completely overlooked FANTASY (LOCKOUT). Whoops.

I started with Secret Rendezvous and improved my 496 to a 513.

Then I moved on to Colors. I was able to improve my 651 to a 652, but I'd need 2 more DP to beat you. I guess that means I need an SDG on this one now, too.

So, one new win and closed the gap a tiny bit on the one more. It took A LOT of tries to get those and I was done for the night. I had other stuff to do before bed.

I'll pick this up again probably tonight. I really want to get my 25,000 badge!

Pick a new song for this week, Merk.
