Played LA BAMBA last night. If you're using Stay On Sync, note that there are two different La Bamba songs in their database. If you filter by mix, you'll find that the one in Extreme is in all caps, LA BAMBA.

Anyway, I got 18 greats for a DP of 574. I feel like I should get one more great to have the BEST SCORE! :)

Last week was my fault. I didn't play OR choose a song. I am a failure.

But...I'm going to pull myself up by my bootstraps (as soon as I find said straps or start wearing boots) and get this train back on the tracks (too soon for that analogy?).

How about some Daikenkai (Heavy)?

I am so sorry I picked Daikenkai. After taking last week off from DDR, it seemed awfully difficult. I managed to muddle and great attack my way through it and eventually got my score at least up to an A. 98 greats and a few NCs for a DP of 750. Crap.

As much trouble as I was having with the Heavy, I didn't even bother to look at the Challenge last night. Is it really terrible?

Before I forget (or get too God damn busy at work, FML) here is what I pulled off last week:

La Bamba - 15g FC
Don't Stop - 5g FC -- I feel like I could AAA this if I whored it out enough, there are hardly any turns and there's only like one pad transition throughout the entire song
Jam Jam Reggae - 13, FC -- This took me a few tries, this chart is kind of goofy and I couldn't find the best way to step it, I had to do a bunch of double-steps.
SP-Trip Machine - 22, 1 NC

Daikenkai is really hard, holy shit, I am way too fat to play this song and do well on it.

Anyway, I feel like it's most appropriate to pick a song with a "summer" theme this week since all the chitlins are getting out of school...

I dunno how about Candy <3 ? We already did one of the "My Summer Love" songs

Yay! New scores!

Do you need me to calculate DP and update the OP for you?

Like I said earlier, I'm sorry about Daikenkai. I didn't think the heavy was so hard. I'm glad I'm not alone in having trouble with it.

We did do My Summer Love, but it was at least a year ago...probably more. It was on "week" 63. We're up to 103 now and we've definitely missed a few along the way.

We could do MY SUMMER LOVE (TOMMY'S SMILE MIX). Or if you want to go with Candy <3, that's fine, too. I'm good with either.
