Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Hangul wave
Welp I ordered a bunch of blank CD-RWs so I can make alllllllll the little DDR 573 mixes!

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Hangul wave
Why RW? RWs sometimes don't work that great in those old CD-ROM drives and also cost more than CD-Rs.
Alternatively, you can find a compatible DVD drive for your machine and burn a "Superdisc."

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Waiting for Merk
I played some early Sunday morning around 3:30. I tried improving some of the scores where you're beating me.
I got the same result on AM-3P. Still 9 greats. Still 471 DP. Still trailing you.
I was able to make considerable improvement on Love Shine. 50 great + 1 NC for 716 DP. You're still winning that, too, but I at least feel like I'm in the ballpark now.
I got Fantasy (Lockout) down to 8 greats. That's a new DP of 508 and breaks our tie.
Finally, I worked Colors down to an SDG at 9. We are now tied at 653 DP.
Are you ready for new songs yet this week?

Yes, let's get a new song on the docket. I still need to burn discs but I did get my blank CD shipment on Saturday, I just haven't had time to burn the DDR mix images yet.
What the eff were you doing up at 3:30 in the morning?

I was playing DDR, duh.Merk wrote:What the eff were you doing up at 3:30 in the morning?
I think it's actually your turn to pick a song. I guess you can pick a mix, too, if you want.
Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Hangul wave
I currently have Extreme installed since I was killing time trying to improve old scores while I was waiting for you. If you wanted to try and make up some past weeks, I could leave it in for this week. I was just thinking that once we install a new mix, we should stick to it for a few weeks so we don't have to keep reinstalling.
Meanwhile, I prepared a total row in our table on the OP:
Hopefully this is some kind of encouragement for you to make up some of those TBDs. I'm guessing you can beat me on a lot of them.
