You know, I don't think in all my days of playing DDR that I've ever seen two players do an Oni course together. It's always been sort of a one person affair

Then I guess it's clear that you've never truly lived.

I think if you're paying for the game and don't know each other really well, it would be considered courteous to allow single play for onis due to the concentration involved.

We were not paying and know each other fairly well.

If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Ugh people playing Oni in the busy arcade... truly the most selfish act.

I feel like it's a risk / reward thing. With an Oni course you can last the whole course but there is a risk that you fuck up on the first song and BAM you're back at the end of the line.

I will admit if you play World Tour or that 10-song course on Max2 during peak hours then you're kiiiiiind of a dick but only slightly. I'd be impressed if I saw some person do the 10-song course live because that shit is hard as eff.

Did you want to pick something for this week (not that I've played any DDR in about a month now)? But hey, I guess it's my turn to get behind.

Played didder for the first time in at least a month. Probably only the second time since my birthday.

It...didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. It hurt. Just not as much as I was expecting. :P

That being said, Merk, how's your machine coming? Are we about ready to get this show on the road again?

Welp I got those little spacers in the mail on Sunday from that Facebook guy. I should probably get those installed in my machine.

Let's start playing again! I've been way too lazy lately.

Same.

I've been having a lot of fun with my Xbox, but I've been having less fun with the 5 ugly pounds I've gained.

Are we ready?

Because, if we're not, I'm installing Solo 2000 tonight because I have a hankering.

I actually installed Extreme, worked on my 1P side, and played some DDR yesterday! It turns out I had actually installed the little plastic spacers that I got from that Facebook guy backwards lololololol

The little nub side is supposed to go INTO the little holes of the L-Bracket, whoops! After I flipped the spacers around things worked much better, not perfect, but better. I plan on messing around with my pads on Wednesday and really try and get them in pristine condition.

I actually installed MAX2 because I remembered that Solo requires a little wiring modification that I'm too lazy to do right now. I'd actually rather play MAX2 than Extreme if we're getting back to this--even if it's only singles until you get your machine working again.
