My understanding is that MAX through Extreme use that system (with penalties and considering freezes) internally to calculate your letter grade. The thresholds are a percentage of the total possible DP on the chart without mods, so if you use mods like little or freeze off, you'll end up automatically getting a fairly low grade - often hilariously low such as on things like Exotic Ethnic with freeze off selected.

Ok. But the Oni score in Extreme is just 2x perfect + great, isn't it? I thought that was what was considered DP score. Either way, the simpler calculation is what we're using.

Well, Extreme Oni also has marvelous. I don't remember how that's weighted. It may be worth 3 points. But yes, I don't think Extreme Oni score penalizes for non-combo. Losing a life in Oni mode is penalty enough.

Maximum Overdrive was the only one that I got the FC on, but it wasn't the chart I was thinking of when I picked it. I may have been thinking of More Than I Needed To Know, but I'm not sure on that either.

I'm sure I can do better than these if I play a little more and get some stamina and flexibility back. Right now, my legs are sore and feel like jelly. I am a wreck.

Also, MonMotha, I forgot about the 2x OK in the scoring. So, your true... score should be 554. You didn't list your OKs on Do You Remember Me, but I assume you got all 15 which would make your score 758.

Updated my scores in my post to correspond to 2xOK being included. I did indeed get all 15 freezes on Do You Remember Me.

Guys I actually played DDR yesterday. Holy shit.

I didn't play anything from this thread but I legitimately played for a solid hour to work up a sweat and burn off my fat ass.
