Lies. This game was the single biggest letdown of my life.

OK, not really, but it was nothing close to what I thought it would be. It was like that scary movie that tried to hard to be scary, but turned out to be funny.

SH2 will always hold a place in my heart. Always.

SH2 was great but the rest all blow in my opinion..3 & 4 i had no desire to finish...1 was psx and god do i hate any 3d game on psx. i played alone in the dark on my 486 the other day and was laughing at how close to psx it looked

hey now... alone in the dark is a scary game! especially alone in the dark 2.... It used to really scare me when I was a wee little boy :(

Silent Hill 2 defenitly has a much more intense emotional impact than any other silent hill game. And, while it doesn't look nearly as frightening as the others, it has an intense creep factor that really starts to get to you after you've been playing it for a while.
Silent Hill 4 actually isn't as bad as people seem to think, either. It starts slow, and at first, it didn't hold my interest, but once you start to get into the scenario and get the feel for the new style of gameplay, it really starts to improve. But yeah, the beginning of the game...not all that exciting.

i tried to watch brokeback mountain last night since the acadamy awards say it's good. well one line from the movie sums it up best:
"We don't have work for your kind. We pay you to herd the sheep and watch the dogs not stem each others roses."

That's about how I felt with the movie.
