Expansion announced but nobody cares about this game anymore so Blizzard might as well be talking to a wall. It is still a mystery how they had 10 years to build off of the greatness that they had in Diablo 2 but they somehow managed to take a giant leap backwards.

I bet that everyone hating on D3 still gives up that cash as soon as Blizzard drops the bass.

I think you have to wait at least a month before any solid consensus can come out and the game becomes a solid skip or buy.

I don't think D3 haters have the patience. They're like smackheads. Doesn't matter the price and quality of the product. Sure they'll complain, but they gotta feed the habit.

You have quite a treasure in that Horadric cube.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

GOD, the fucking Horadric cube was awesome, how the fuck did Blizzard think it was not a good idea to include it in D3? We're they afraid of just rehashing the masterpiece that was D2? That sure as fuck didn't stop them with Starcraft.

That's sort of why I had such high hopes for D3. Starcraft II gave me the confidence I needed that Blizzard could still make non-WoW good games and not overthink shit. But no, they had to go and reinvent the wheel with D3 and we essentially end up with a Dodge Viper that has the power of a Ford Pinto.

tbh, wow is better for both casual and h/c gamers.

the world is so expansive, unlike D3.

I'm looking forward to hearthstone. I like cards and still play yugioh.

Re-installed this game and played for about two hours to check out the new patch. I actually legitimately found two legendaries that were tailored for my wizard which is more than I ever found in my entire playtime back when the game first came out. I still feel pretty god damned burned by this game but they are at least making it a bit easier to get that slot machine-esque dopamine hit that happens when you see that sweet orange text and watch your little stat numbers go up.

- Ladders / Seasons confirmed.
- Season exclusive legendaries confirmed.
- Endless dungeons, via the rift system confirmed
- Beat a rift, get a key to a harder tiered rift, ad infinitum
- Ladders on who can get the furthest in the tiered rifts
- Tiered rift exclusive legendaries

Initial impressions from peeps is that the expansion is pretty good but people were in denial when vanilla was released so really who the fuck knows how good the expansion is. I love endless dungeon mechanics though so that definitely piqued my interest.

Beat the expansion in about an hour and got to 68 doing adventure mode and getting loot. Adventure mode and farming blood shards is the endgame so unless you're dumb like little babby Riot then there's no reason to play campaign mode on anything other than normal. Would why someone torment themselves by playing anything other than the endgame?

All the 61+ loot has crazy big numbers so lol to anyone who spent any decent amount of time grinding level 60 loot when Loot 2.0 came out because it instantly became garbo when the first level 61 item dropped.

Hopefully you can show this to me sometime.
