So discussing is insulting one another and doing exactly what certain people want? I never realized that. Ho you said it yourself, Casey thrives on attention, and people keep giving it to him instead of just ignoring him on here like it needs to be done. Casey is a pretty cool guy in real life, I have no idea why he does this kind of stuff on the forum, but i'm tired of nearly every thread becoming a little flame war between various people, including yourself. Maybe it's just me, but it's more annoying to see people arguing and having to read multiple posts of nothing but insults to one another than it is to read one person insulting another and the other person just ignoring him. Maybe i missed the whole point of the whole christian thinking. "If somebody slaps you, turn the other cheek" I may not be religious, but I personally think that's a good role.

And back onto the subject....Personally, i'd like to see a state-wide tournament where every single player in the state who is at a certain level at DDR, played every other one, so we could have a little official ranking of who is best in the state. It'd be interesting to know actually, with a lot of people thinking they're all better than each other.

And apparently you, too...since you're continuing this line of discussion. There's no flame war here. Actually, the discussion has been quite civil. I simply stated my opinion, and so did he.

I do agree with you though...the pointless bickering and lack of substance to a majority of threads were a large part of what made me close the site last year.

haha no matter what you say on this one he got you Ho :) You flame bait me constantly and I find it quite funny to see you of all people do it. Anyways, on topic.

The top 5 are obvious, its the list under that that should remain discussed.

The thread should be best 6th - 15th players in indiana :D:D

10)R.J. - No idea if he plays anymore.
I saw R.J. the other night at greenwood. He and I played together a couple of songs.

Greenwood has also got a new machine.
It's on some weird pad with DDR extreme (the home version).
If you actually DO want to play some cheap, quality DDR fun, Go to Greenwood Mall.

Sorry to get off topic, Ho.
Just here to inform

are you that stupid honestly? That DDR machine is a Namco copy, the pads seriously weight I htink 20 pounds a side, ARENT CONNECTED TO EACHOTHER, and flippin suck. I broke the pad within 5 minutes on a 10 footer.

Read the greenwood thread about it, not only does your post not belong on this thread but its telling ppl to waste their gas money to play at greenwood. Thats almost as bad as going to rascals.

Every Namco arcade in the nation is getting one of these TERRIBLE machines: check it out.

I'd like to add that the posted list of freestylers is soemthing this thread needs as well. It's always presumed that "best" means "best MA", and not "best overall". I know lots of people who can MA but have no style (me), and lots of people who can freestyle well, but aren't quite on the top tier of MA. The "best" players, in my opinion, are in the middle of this spectrum: take Joe. Joe can kick your ass in both MA -and- in freestyle. So, while it's nice to recognize the best MAers, the people who are well-versed in every aspect of the game are, IMO, the "best" players.

My apologies to anyone who may have received my previous remarks as some sort of flame. The intent was simply to illustrate my point that any ranking like this requires some sort of criteria, and that I can think of several subjective judgements that I regard as highly, if not higher, than pure skill. pkmnx stated this very well a few posts prior to this one.

The term "best" can be tailored to each individual making such a judgement. We can discuss, argue, or acknowledge these ideas, but these lists will still have the most validity to the people that create them.

Pffh, come on! I could totally beat Ghandi! Have you seen the size of that man's calves? Skinny as a twig! He coulden't dance his way out of a paper bag. "Oh, look at me! I helped lead India to freedom from the oppressive British through nonviolence!". Bah, what a pansy! I'm totally #3!
