Yay, I passed fly through the night! I only played for like 5 minutes, but I changed my strategy from doing those two-key drills (including the one at the end) with one hand to doing them with two hands, and I passed it. I got an A, too!

I also just noticed on VJArmy that the real rating of this is a 7, not a 6...which just makes it all the cooler!

Stupid US Ratings system, all it does is confuse and drive me nuts. (V Hyper is a 10, NOT an 8. Happy Sky 12 Star ratings FTW!)

played for the first time in a while and actually got a few good scores...

Fly Through The Night[a] AAA
Ichizuna Koi[a] AAA
Monkey Dance[a] AAA
Freezing Atmosphere 7K FC AAA

and i got 11 points away from a AA on V[a]....

and i got a FC AAA on Desolation[a] a few days ago too.

Great day today:

AAA #56 I Was The One [a] (took quite a bit of whoring...ended up FCing a few times, not for the AAA though...what is this a 5 on US system?)
Passed Love Is Dreaminess Hyper (A!)
Passed The Shining Polaris Hyper (A!)
Got The Cube Hyper up to an A

So now, only 11 songs left to pass on Hyper! I've also passed all the 6* songs in the game except for Paranoia Max [a].

Does BMUS actually re-rate anothers? Up until RED, the Japanese releases of IIDX (CS and AC, though AC may not have been until Happy Sky) did not re-rate the Another charts. Instead, it simply displayed the same rating as the 7k chart. This lead to a lot of problems due to the fact that the 7k rating often gave absolutely no indication of how hard the Another was: witness the old 5.1.1. charts: 1*, 1*, OMGWTFBBQ (but listed as 1).

Yes, BMUS/IIDXUS assigns ratings to anothers, making it (technically) the first Beatmania to do so.

IIRC, 5.1.1.[a] is rated an 8 (out of 10) on BMUS for both 7-key and 14-key versions.

It's a 9 on at least 7k.

Kakumei 7K AAA ( #15 VJA and BOLDED)

i also got a few new AAs on [a] as well....

Having an okay day, two new AAAs:

AAA #57 Digital MinD L7 (PC!)
AAA #58 Presto L7

With these two scores, I have all of BMUS 3* and below AAAd except for offsynch songs.

I also improved a bunch of L7 scores, some by quite a bit.

EDIT: 16 songs left to AAA on L7, only 5 below a AA (Colors, M-02, Summer Vacation, Nemesis, and Snow).

Meh, didn't do too much today, improved a few of the harder L7 scores (21 from AA on Snow L7!), but I did get one good thing:

AAA #59 Mobo*Moga L7 (I spent about half an hour trying to get 3 more EX points on this...ugh I was about ready to kill myself)

Double Post! Well, I improved a bunch of 7k scores today, and got a few important things:

A on in my eyes Hyper
Passed Bad Boy Bass!! Hyper (with a mid-range A!)
30 away from AA on Digital MinD Hyper
A on Genom Screams Hyper (with this score, all 5* are A or better)
AA on Mobo*Moga Hyper (first 6* AA!)
AA on Snow L7 (now only 4 songs left to AA on L7)

Hmm...what should I try to get for AAA #60?

Had a pretty good day in IIDX today, a few notable "really-close" scores:

8 away from a AA (!!) on Bad Boy Bass!! Hyper
2 away from an SDG on 5.1.1 Hyper (88 perfects, 11 greats)
2 away from an A on The Cube [a], a song that I first passed today! (btw, Pheonix, try this song NOW, it says 7, but it's just the same basic pattern all through the song. You should pass it with no problem.)
I also improved Mr. T Hyper (my arch-nemesis chart) to a mid-range AA somehow!
Got Digital MinD Hyper up to a AA also.

Some other near AAs on hard 7s. No one cares. fuck.
