I'll know this evening. I think I might not need that 573 connector.
Welp, it works. Still lots to do, but Stepmania/OITG runs just fine. So what's next?
- Figure out how to fix/replace the lower-left bass.
- Add a whole shitlot of stepfiles.
- Clean up the pads.
- Replace damaged sensors.
After that the remaining changes should be cosmetic. Before I can do anything else, I need a nice driver to get these screws out. Queue Black Friday.
Nice. Also is that a pun at the end?

How did you fix the stuck arrow issue? Not use the little cables that were connected to that plate?
You know, the ones the instructions told us to use...

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I have a little experience with these things.

Exactly. Must have been a different iteration of the instructions. No pun intended. I'm not even sure I get the pun you're talking about. :[

So do we want to have a simfile contest? How is the songfile library coming? I want there to be songs to play the next time I come over which will probably be a while from now.

I found all of the old charts from years long forgotten.

You mean the Jap night simfiles? There were some decent ones in there.

A few. I still have the 'Terranoid' track you did.

Hell yeah that was a pretty good chart IMO!
Be sure to grab all the old DDR stuff and change the timing settings to something not horrendously huge.

Do you have mine? I think I made 3 in total. They were "You Wanna Me," "The Wings of a Boy That Killed Adolescence" (this stepfile is awesome), and a 10 footer for "Chaoz Japan," which was also really well done IMO. I can zip and send if I can find them.

I'll concede that The Wings of a Boy That Killed Adolescence is a great song, chart, and name.

I was thinking about that last night. I've been meaning to change it to start on the correct beat so the notes don't look off.
Edit: I believe I have all three.

Yo why'd you edit my post, son?!?!?!
Anyway, once you get the cabinet up and running you need to have a Jap Night and require that people e-mail you a stepchart before coming over.

My bad. Edited the wrong post.
This is a great plan.

We'll heat up some Edamame.
You make the rice.
DA will bring the Pocky and the animes.
I'll cook the potstickers.
I'll fry the rice.
I'll cook the General Tso's chicken.
Tim will bring the fortune cookies.
