I've been playing FFXII 20 out of the last 27 hours.

So, I'm sitting here typing this on my desktop, while about a foot left of my monitor my laptop sits atop my PS2 seeding a torrent. The PS2 is hooked up to the TV right next to it, which is displaying the progress of copying FFXII to the hard drive.

you know ffxii was out in early october on the seven seas right?

Buy the goddamn game, you guys suck.

I do own the game. Collectors edition and everything. I'm just hoping to reduce load times by running of the hd.

The load times aren't that bad are they? I think the longest I ever had to wait on a PS2 load was 10 seconds. I use the time to pick my teeth.

my cousin beat the Japanese version, in which he torrented, a month or so ago. he printed out a translation guide which was easily 200+ sheets. oh god it was horrid.

No they're not bad at all. Which is why it's fishy he's downloading a torrent when he could just rip the ISO from his disc. But whatever.

The torrent was actually for a PS2 utility pack. To be honest, I was partially ripping it to the hard drive to test it out, as I just now got around to actually setting up the drive in my PS2. However, it refuses to play FFXII off the hard drive, even though every source I've seen says it should work.

Oh well, looks like it's the hard copy for me

i didn't like it and didn't play it for more than 5 hours. i have a plethora of other games i must beat and this game doesn't matter to me. i do buy games when i like them i.e PSU & GH2
