I don't get you people. Who cares about what shirt someone's wearing? Hot Topic was around long before this emo-punk-whatever revolution the teens seem to be having... and it'll be around after those kids move on to something different.

Or would you rather everyone shop at hollister, express, or something of the like? Seems to me like everyone bitches about novelty tees, but no one mentions shirts that simply say Abercrombie, Hollister, Old Navy... etc.

These are just as bad if not worse...
[/off topic]
I hate Hot Topic because now I can't wear girl pants without getting grouped with the kids who frequent that place, and just a few years ago, were wearing HUGER THAN X-BOX pants.

I bitch about novelty because people always always ALWAYS ask "Hey, did you see my shirt?" And then they point to where the words are, just in case I got lost along the way. It's almost always the same irritating type of person as well. Hey, your shirt isn't funny, and I'm 99% sure you're not either. However, I've never had someone wearing an Abercrombie tee ask me if I read what their shirt says. So no, I don't think they're just as bad.

And honestly, I would rather have people shop at Abercrombie, Express (so sad the one at our mall is gone) etc. etc. You know, where you can buy some clothing other than t-shirts. Though, I will admit, I am a fan of overdressing for things. Hell, I just recently stopped wearing my fancy jeans and shirts in favor of baller shorts and a white tee to play dancing game.
I shop at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Wal-Mart. Wheet-woo! =P

And the occassional mall store, if I'm feeling lucky. [Usually Aeropostale]. In any case, I can get the Express-ish jeans or Abercrombie & Fitch shirt at TJ Maxx. I'm a cool-kid. XD!

Yeah, back in my 12 year old rebel days I frequented the Hot topic...now, I get clothes where I get clothes and that usually means my friends. I'm still living off allowance (me and my 14 year old self [*feels a need to advertise that as much as possible] so I don't buy clothes..ever. oh no.

I used to shop at hot topic a lot...not because it was 'cool,' but because I liked a lot of the clothes there. Unfrortunately, now a days they carry more emo shit than anything. I'll still pick something up there every now and then if I find something I like, but it's pretty rare.
Lately I shop at Kohls, or H&M a lot. Boot cut jeans, pinstriped pants and button up shirts. If I'm feeling frisky, or my wallet is too big, I may swing by the Buckle and grab an Affliction shirt or something. I like them...but the Buckle is way too fucking expensive.
100 bucks for a pair of jeans? Hahahahaha I think not.

ROFL...no one's been beating me up. Actually it was an inanimate object that beat me up.

One of my best friend's came to Bloomington to visit her grandma from New Hampshire. I haven't seen her since 6th grade cuz she moved away after that. Anyways, so I was hanging out at her grandma's house, and it had a hot tub. I was getting out of it...and I stepped on the very edge of the small ladder on the side....and it came back up and hit me really hard. I have a similar bruise on my knee too.
