Yeah...nothing really special to report tonight either.
I just want to apologize for leaving right as some fun people arrived. That cookout was still on, despite the rain. It was more of a "cook-in," though. We played some GH2, bringing us back to the conversation where everyone believed that if I was good, for some reason I had no social life. Ugh.
I know I missed a great time, and I feel like crap for abandoning you for Campus Life, but I'll be there next week. I promise. =]

Didn't have as great of an Indy Groove Night as I was expecting, but some decent things nonetheless.

I finally passed this song, mainly because of all the stupid hands. The first time I played it, I was all over the place, almost like a stupid game of Twister. Not a great score, but we'll get there.

First play. Almost a full combo.

Wowee. 94%. That might be one of the highest percentages I have scored on a song. Also, near FC.

Decent score. First play.

I don't even think I have a score for the Hard version.

So, as you can tell, I need to play more not just for practice, but because I've never played some songs on the machine. It's not like I whore a few songs or anything, but I just haven't played ITG as much as other people.
I need to pick one Saturday and pass everything I can.
As again, any advice or comments would help.
-Jeff

I'm guessing there are a LOT of songs you've never played. Do you have a groovestats yet? Very useful for tracking things like that

.
Also, digging the new high score name. And Cryosleep is MAJOR fun on Expert.

I do have a GrooveStats...updated just now:
http://groovestats.com/index.php?page=p ... gs&id=5075
Roughly scores on 40 or so songs; keep in mind some are waaaaay outdated.
Also, I'm getting a haircut today, so I won't look like Tim Curry anymore. -_-

Had a chance to drop by Rascal's again today (haircut). Figured I'd try Spaceman on Hard, since I haven't done that either.

Right on.

Also, forgot to tell you, but good job on QoL. That song's actually pretty tough, it was actually one of the last 10s that I broke 90 on (I hate hands).

So, let me sum up my Indy Groove Night from tonight:
-Got there at 7:30
-Played 3 ITG songs; all new to flash drive, but the USB port "forgot" mine somehow, but they were all 88%s, I think. However, no screenshots.
I also got down to business and played some DDR. This was my first night of trying to pass Max 300.
First attempt: Called Cbav, Mike, Katy, and John over; was doing really, really well. I actually had a 150? combo to begin. I failed on the last step before the 4 final triplets. I was extremely bummed. Not only was I so close, I wasted a lot of Cbav's film.
Second attempt: I let go of the button too early and forgot to adjust speed mods. I can't play 600 BPM for that song. Failed really quickly. As again, wasted a lot of Cbav's film.
Final attempt: I was getting really tired, so I figured this would be the last try, like it or not. I called Cbav over again to film, and thankfully...
...I passed it. With a C.
However, because I wasted so much of Cbav's film...his camera gave out right before the final triplets.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!
Any comments/criticism/advice is always greatly appreciated.
-Jeff.
PS: Cbav said he'd upload the tape tonight. I'll hold you to your word, Cbav, but if you have more important things to do, go ahead with that.

				Hahaha it's so true.
I'll get to work on the video once my camera recharges.
