I just stayed around Bloomington and had dinner with my parents on Saturday night, and Meg was here Friday-Sunday morning. And I played some Demon's Souls and stuff... game is mad hard, but I've almost beaten it. Then my mommy bought me Mass Effect 2!

FFXIII comes out tomorrow, I ordered it from Newegg so hopefully it gets here before the weekend. My spring break is next week, so I'm going to spend like all next week being lazy and playing it... I can't wait.

I hate spending money.

Riot you need to post your trip report on FFXIII. You have no idea how anxious I am to read your opinion on this game.

Make a new thread about it though I don't want to have to scroll through the white noise to get to your wonderful posts.

Okay I will. I have a strong hunch that I will love it because the stuff that other people are bitching about, I don't mind and even like. The biggest gripe I foresee is annoying whiny JRPG characters that are hard to like, but I think I'll be okay. I don't mind that the game is linear and very story-oriented for the first 1/2 of the game like people are whining about, I'd rather have the plot keep moving and stay interesting, and I don't like the overwhelming feeling of too much non-linearity like most WRPGs give you where you're plopped in a world without direction and you have too many options that it becomes frustrating and the story takes a backseat to the hack n' slash.
