I have made the last post on the top four threads in Conversation Cornucopia. Does anyone want to talk about anything interesting or ask me my opinion on something?

Tell me about your Camry.

Welp! It's a Sky-Blue 4-door 2007 Toyota Camry XLE with about 40,000 miles on it. I bought it when it had 27,000 on it for roughly $19,000 after taxes by selling some stock. It has a leather interior, built-in GPS system, dual climate control, sun-roof, auxiliary audio system, and keyless ignition.
It's served me well thus far and the only maintenance I've had to do is fix two of the tires and change the oil twice. I'm waiting for the inevitable transmission self-combustion that all cars go through. Depending on how this car functions in the long-term I would strongly consider buying another Toyota.
I've never been a passenger in my car before though, how was the backseat, Brian?

Being a passenger in your own car is an odd experience. I've had the opportunity a few times in mine. It's weird reaching to the other side for the seatbelt. And the back seat...well, that's even more strange yet.
Back seat of your car was fine. I'm not too big, so it takes a special car to make me feel cramped. Yours was neither the roomiest nor the tightest that I've been in. Basically, about average...so it was just fine. Having A/C vents back there was a definite plus.
I'm glad you like your car. It's always nice to have a reliable one that you enjoy.

Hey Brian make me a mod of IndyDDR so I can feel like I climbed the corporate posting ladder and reached the top.
I am a true rags to riches story.

Hey Merk I was going to Dairy Queen on my lunch break the other day and I went down this little side street to take a shortcut to get there. Much to my surprise it was called Merkler St. Does your family have anything to do with that street?

Yes! As a matter of fact we do. My great grandfather was big into automobiles way back in the early 1900s when horseless carriages and whatnot were starting to catch on and the assembly line / mass production made them affordable to the middle class. He owned what was at the time the only car repair shop in the entire northern Indiana region that he aptly named after himself. There wasn't much else on the road that the shop was on during that time so when the city of Ft. Wayne was handing out names to out-of-the-way roads they took the lazy route and named it "Merkler Street" after the shop.
I guess he was fairly well known in the community and he competed in a lot of racing events in the midwest. I'm surprised the name for the road has stuck to this day! I doubt the old building for the shop is still standing, is there anything on that road anymore? I haven't been on it in like a decade.
EDIT: Just Google mapped it and it looks like there are three or four car-related businesses on that tiny stretch of road. Kinda funny that nearly a century later that road has been all cars all the time.

That's good stuff! I'm 100% sure anything in the area named Powell has nothing to do with my family. Our last name is too common and we are not entrepreneurs or anybody famous.

Got one of those typewriters already. I'll trade it for what's pictured in the third photo please.
