Yeah. He's very casey-esuqe in that he's good at these games, is nice to his friends, and is an ass to everyone else. When we were in Ottumwa, everyone was hanging out like friends. Steve's friends even called him Silly Bitchell. They have sort of a delusion of grandeur. I'll elaborate later.

I do kinda wanna play BF3. I have the multiplayer beta on my PC, but meh. I don't like large-scale games where it takes 5 minutes to tromp over to the battle, die, and then respawn super far away. I hate vehicles in games as well. I want to play for the single player mode, but I hear it's not THAT groundbreaking aside from some nice lighting and physics. Maybe when I build a new PC eventually and it's cheaper.

Yeah the Battlefield / Modern Warfare games never appealed to me. Team FPS games always have some bullshit wrong with them and having to depend on other players to win is just the fucking worst outside of clan matches or whatev. Pubby games are awful and griefing is so en vogue that it's impossible to play a good game without being on an organized team.

CS, Quake 3 DM, and Quake 3 CTF are bar none the best FPS games. There's no cheevo or grindy bullshit. You just log on, play the fucking game on an even playing field, and the person with the best skill / ability to exploit imbalances wins. This is why fighting games are so awesome.
