Need to smack myself for that title. Anyways, this is sure to make me sound like a noob, but I finally passed a song with 8 difficulty, although it was 2x speed, solo and I got a B, but still I passed the stupid thing. I already forgot the name though, but it was on Max2.
Also, anybody have any tips for the death stream(s) when you do the extra stage on Max 2? btw it's MAX Unlimited (i think) reverse and dark. and I completely cannot time my reverses right at all.

2. Know the steps of MaxxUnlimited well. Playing flatfoot is easier than on your toes.

Umm...if you just now passed your first 8, I don't think you need to be worrying about arguably the hardest pre-Supernova song on Extra Stage mods.

You'll probably want to practice Unlimited with normal mods before even trying 1.5 reverse dark. To be honest though, it is a difficult 10. If you want a hard-but-not-too-hard 10, try Max 300 or Paranoia Survivor.

True, but I always do a 8-10 difficulty song on my last two songs so I can try to get better. My biggest problem is my speed it's my ability or lack-of to read the screen fast enough to register the steps. Right now I'm doing all my songs on 2x speed to try to get used to faster arrows. Also, need to know this:
What is harder on heavy:

Burning heat
So Deep
Doll

Sakura is too easy to be a true 10.

Well, we're looking at two issues. Easy PA-wise, or easy pass-wise. This, I believe is a major flaw in DDR foot ratings. They are inconsistent on what they rate for. Some are rated on difficulty to AAA, and some on difficulty to pass. To AAA, indeed Sakura is harder than PS, but to simply PASS, Sakura is much easier. To pass, the order is something like...
Burning Heat
So Deep
Xenon
DoLL
But to AAA, it's more like
Burning Heat
Xenon
So Deep
DoLL
At least in my opinion.

Well, today is my first FULL day of owning Super Nova and I have some very uninspiring results from my first couple runs at the HOME VERSION of if.

He speaks the truth! Its the mix i grew up on as well.
Max2 isn't worth it so avoid that one.
