The official stance on this was never stated by Ho, but I have to believe that he wouldn't condone this under the grounds of the online Bemani meme 'Konami Will Sue!'

Yeah...we generally frown upon the open promotion of piracy as it harms the producers of the games that brought us all together.
Additionally, this release isn't exactly new...
