As you click the refresh button, the avatars change. I'm not sure how random it is, though, since after 10 or so I only saw mine cycle between a few other (Heavy) poster's icons.

I'm curious as to the method of this madness.

What kind of errors?

I just changed things back shortly before I posted that previous message, so anything before that shouldn't have been anything I was doing.

When I tried to go to the forums, they wouldn't load and I got an error page saying all sorts of stuff (something "MySQL" or something like that), and then after the forums did load, it was a while before any of the actual categories would open.
