The YMCA close to me (I forget the address) has a SN machine. I haven't been able to play it yet, so I can't comment on condition/upgradedness.

And, get this:
My school is actually getting a DDR machine (the rumor is that we're actually getting TWO!). I'm thinking they have to be Supernovas since I think they were bought new?

Update:
My school just got in an In The Groove 2 machine. From what I've seen (haven't been up close and personal yet), it is an upgrade from a DDR cabinet. I plan on trying it out tomorrow, expect a full report on pad condition, etc. Even though none of you will get to play it (except DDRmaster and King of Bondage, neither of which ever post anymore).

Also, it seems unlikely that anybody at my school would be willing/able to take care of this machine, so this task will probably fall upon me. I would appreciate any help/tutorials as to how to manage a machine (upgrading, cleaning/maintenance, etc.). Would Ho's guide that I've heard good things about apply to this?

If it really is a DDR cabinet converted to ITG, then the stage maintenance part yes, but anything related to computer hardware and software, no.

I have answered a number of questions on didderfrick and other forums, emails, PMs, etc., but I don't believe I've ever published a formal guide relating to the hardware/software. The stage maintenance guide is all there is.

That guide was, of course, written per pre-SuperNOVA stage design specs, though it should be completely applicable to SN or ITG conversion cabinets and at least partially applicable to Andamiro PIU and ITG2 cabs.

That's what I was referring to.
Is it online? If so, link please?
And if not, we'll figure something out.

P.S. It is an upgrade from a DDR cabinet to ITG2, and the pads are...decent. They are comparable to the condition of the pads of Crazy Pinz's 6th Mix right when they opened, and ALMOST as good as Putt-Putt's ITG2 Dedi a few months ago before they fixed the pads. I'm not sure on the version, forgot to check.

Thanks! I'll be sure to take a look at that and try to keep this machine in good condition.
