The Romantics WILL SUE!!!

In Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, one of the songs in the game that wasn't using the original recording was What I Like About You by The Romantics. However, the band thinks that the track sounds too much like them and as a result has sued Activision.

Ok, the idea of Wavegroup getting sued for sounding too much like the original recording doesn't sound possible given their track record. If anything, this sets a hell of a legal precedence. I hope somebody capitalizes on this, sues whoever the f*cking hell commissioned the covers for Final Countdown and Ghostbusters on IIDX due to how shitty they are, and makes f'n sure that they never appear on an AC release again as long as I live!

I've personally played that song on GH:80's. I considered taking it to court for such a terrible chart.

That could be stated for several songs in that particular release from what I've seen.
