PIU & Chuck E. Cheese's

From the information I've gathered, there is a deal between Andamiro (the manufacturer of Pump it Up) and Chuck E. Cheese's to put a PIU Exceed machine in every Chuck E. Cheese's location in the States. Has this been confirmed at all? I called my local Chuck's to see if they had a machine yet but they said no.
Seriously, you can't beat Pump for 1 token a play, since every game at the Cheese's is 1 token.

I may be wrong on this but I don't think adults are allowed into Chuck E. Cheese without bringing a child along. If I'm right then I think that'd severely limit the PIU player base at Chuck E. Cheese.

They've let me and Stef in before. You just have to get your hand stamped or something.

If they don't let us in we could always go out and borrow some kids from a random person at the mall.

Makes me glad I have kids :P

But seriously, I don't think you have to have kids to go in there. And I totally believe the PIU thing; have you seen the new Chuck E Cheese ads? They prominently feature a PIU machine (you can even tell it's an Exceed) and some random kids bouncing around on it.

In mostly unrelated news, my son Ian (age 3) can play Donkey Konga now (as in, he knows how to pass songs). DDR/PIU is next!

I noticed that in the Chuck E Cheese ads I've seen lately. OMG that's Pump Exceed in the background!!!

I would just like to say that I am a child available for kidnapping.

But seriously, this excites me.

This makes me happy, and am hoping that it happens soon.

I can see why they wouldn't want a shload of teenagers in a childrens' place, though. And I probably wouldn't play there much because I can hardly stand TnT because of it's childish atmosphere.

It would be nice to see another new thing move into town, though.

But all of this makes me feel like a big loser for having never played DDR outside of Fort Wayne (a.k.a. have only played 5th Mix and Extreme, and ITG on the other dancing game front). n_n;

PIU and Beverages

Here's a question for everyone. :?:

Why would a company have an age admitance policy and still serve Beer and Wine??? I have no problem with the policy, personally.
Just posing a question. Are they trying to teach children to drink at a young age? Another way to look at it is maybe gtting the parents drunk is the only way they sell pizza?

Just think of the possibilities??? PIU and Beverages :)

You're in bright, noisy place, with almost a hundred kids jacked up on candy, running around, screaming. Theres a giant mouse who smells like vomit hitting on your wife. Random kids are asking you for tokens. And the ski-ball machine. OH GOD THE SKI-BALL MACHINE!

That even makes someone like me need a drink.

My god, Jeff, you're brilliant.

And you so got AA'ed for that one, for being the first one to spell out the terrible truth for us.
