I thought of a fun game. Please won't you play it?

Go here: http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm

I'm going to pick three DDR songs we should all know pretty well. Without listening to the song, close your eyes, and tap out the beat as best as you can remember. Give it about 100 button presses or so to make sure the law of averages has set in.

Post results below.

Rhythm and Police: 170 BPM
Dynamite Rave: 150 BPM
Kind Lady: 135 BPM

Good luck!

Boom Boom Dollar
Me: 130.46
Real: 135

Dynamite Rave
Me: 154.94
Real: 150

Max 300
Me: 301.19
Real: 300

Can't Stop Falling in Love
Me: 145.82
Real: 155

All of those were done without looking at the screen so I wasn't affected by watching the calculation. And yeah, this is pretty fun.

I'm playing a little game called "stock market." Try to find a consistent BPM (180, 150, etc), and then suddenly drop the beat out for 1-2 seconds. Watch the average BPM plummet to like, 130 or so. Then, using an accelerated beat, try to bring the beat up PAST the origin BPM. It gets harder the farther along you go because of all the numbers creating a more consistent average.

I wish our stock market would be more reliable if we hung in there longer. >_>
