Allow me to elaborate.

This isn't exactly goodbye, just a see you guys later as my interests and availability have shifted greatly due to my studies and the lack of gatherings that have happened in recent months. Some of the community who talks to me outside of here knows about this. I do hope to be around some more, but I don't see that happening for the remainder of the year.

I didn't see this until today as I just got back from Defcon so I apologize for the delay. I only made it last year due to getting a free pass to the event. There is still a part of me that is interested in going (particularly since all signs point to Platinum Crew shutting down at the end of the month) so I won't completely rule it out. I will be honest though and state that my interest in music gaming has steadily declined since 2010 and I don't see that changing anytime soon. If I did go, I would have to find housing, affordable food, and be able to still work on my current projects as my TODO list before class begins is pretty sizable.

Can we both agree that I am the best IIDX player in Indiana or am I always going to be second fiddle?

Are you sure you're better than Daniel?

I was thinking the same thing.

I realize that there's a difference between CS and AC as far as timing and the controller goes but yeah I think *overall* I'm better than Daniel regardless of what metric you want to use to measure someone's skill at IIDX (AAAs, 12s cleared, FCs) unless you're using tournament wins in which case I am like the fucking worst at IIDX. That isn't to say Daniel is bad at IIDX because he is not but I will say I am confident that on most shit between 1st-16th Style that I will score better. Half the battle in IIDX is knowing what to expect on any given chart so I having played next to no songs on Sirius and up I would expect Daniel to have a leg up on me.

Don't let my showing at ColossalCon sway anyone, I'll fully admit I was playing like shit. I know I'll do a lot better at Gencon.

"TWO DICKS INVITATIONAL"
Watch these two dicks go at it in a (DJ) battle to prove their dominance!

So who is the better athlete:

The runner that has the world record.

or

The Olympian with the most gold medals.

I wanna' go to Gen Con so badly :<
Maybe I can play on the Technika cab in Seattle during Gen Con even though I'm bad at that game, since it's the only one connected online there (perhaps only until the end of this month).
