Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
Have you seen those commericals that list all the internet abbreviations...including ones that no one has ever seen before, like 'love you like a sister,' and 'let's meet in real life!!!1' and all that? Yay, every other person you will ever speak to on the intraweb is a dirty old man who's going to rape you! Gotta love media induced paranoia, that could be easily avoided if people had common sense.
