I acidentally broke a light on a ITG2 machine. I said I'd pay for it, but I just want to make sure I don't get screwed here. How much do you guys think the light should run?

How did you break a light may I ask? The lights are kinda difficult to break unless you are doing crappy freestyle. Should total about 1000 dollars though, you can make the ceck payable to Matthew Hughey, he is the owner of schaffer.

Okay here's how I did it. I was doing a song. tripped on myself and my knee fell into the speaker where the light is behind it. Then I got a little angry cause I failed the song and proceeded to actually kick it. I don't know which time I broke but it's broken and i have to REPLACE it.

Why the fuck would you kick something you don't own? What the hell was your fucking thought process? You couldn't actually damaged a part of the machine that's needed for it to function. People like you make me fucking sick.

Hey, have the worst day of your life. I've got some info about you throwing a fucking TEMPER TANTRUM and kicking a machine, and you're gonna hear some shit about it. It's uncalled for... grow up a little bit.
Ever think that maybe you'd fuck it up for everyone else that wanted to play that day?
Addendum:
Things like this are also why some arcade owners are lax to get machine repaired. If it gets broken by someone, then it makes it look like we'll all tear it up. Sadly, the actions of 1 do speak for the whole (which is unfortunant, but I realized that once I grew up a little bit). Take care of shit, otherwise you'll fuck it up for the rest of us... and we'll be pissed.

No need to be overly dramatic. I was just giving him my two cents.
And yeah, Yamcha... that neon tube is gonna cost quite a bit to replace.

grow up crap? Yes I've lost my temper before (check the want to play drums thread

but that was alcohol induced so normally I don't do that.) I've hit things, I've yelled, screamed... but Spazz makes a very good point... you were kicking something you didn't own and he makes a good point about the repairs on the machine.
end lecture : start help
Luckily... the neon lights are actually fairly cheap to buy... the problem is you have to buy them from hong kong (unless you find a different distributor) when I first heard neon light I was also assuming it'd be a pretty steep price. but actually it's $19.70 (w/o S&H) from hong kong
http://www.channelbeat.com/products/par ... s/106.html
I'm highly doubt you alone can purchase it, but you'll have to talk to the owners and they'll have to get it through their distributor.
hopefully you can get it through the distributor... shipping from hong kong for that item will be about $75.
but seriously... if you don't own it, don't abuse it..... if you own it, don't abuse it... find a better way to channel your anger like this guy:

If this is for an ITG2 cabinet (the one at LaserFlash), that's the wrong part. The part is essentially the same as the Pump GX neon, but it's a different color.
Shaffer is the local distributor for Andamiro (who makes this cabinet), so they should be able to get reasonable pricing on it. If all that is broken is the neon tube, those are not too expensive, though maybe more than $20 for a primary source (Andamiro) part.
