~Gattitown Showdown 1~ --Lexington, Kentucky

Post by Insanemidget »

(Condensed into a New Topic)

We're hosting a tournament on the 6th of August (Saturday). Anyone is welcome to enter.

Gattitown Showdown 1
Image

Divisions
Expert/Upper Hard
Lower Hard/Medium

You may enter either division, but I reserve the right to move you depending on your level of play.

Upper Hard and Expert will remain in seperate brackets until a few rounds in, until they will merge, this will give the UH players a chance to compete (Same goes with LH/Medium).

Entry Fee : 10$

Qualifiers
Expert/Upper Hard - Amore (Expert)
Lower Hard/Medium - Habanera 1 (Hard)

Highest Seed gets choice of either pad or song selection order.

Brackets will follow traditional NCAA style.

When you register and qualify, you must say whether you're entering UH/E or LH/M for Bracket making purposes.

I'll have the calculator ready to fix any problems with the scoring glitch.

This WILL be a DOUBLE Elimination tournament, for both divisions.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct and excessive complaining will be grounds for expulsion from the tournament.

If you have any questions, contact me at Insanemidgetz@yahoo.com or on AIM at 'Insanemidgetz'.

If you need Directions, let me know! The pads are in perfect working order, and it's in a top of the line Gattitown!

I completely forgot about the Marathon division! I figured people like WinDEU would like this, haha.

There will be one condensed division.

The first round must be Normal (no Intense).

The course will be decided by a random number generator (only Modded Courses).

Mods such as (C-mods, TURN mods, Simple/No hands (etc)) are not allowed.

Once again, I'll have the calculator to fix the scoring error.

To elaborate on CGSquall's comment, X-Stomp, Indiana's first Pump It Up tournament, is the same day as this. With it being closer, announced first (at least here), and seemingly fairly anticipated by the community, attendance at this event may suffer a bit.

You'll probably want to post a start time as well as more precise rules, as well.

Stickied.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Sorry, I've been trying to smooth out rules and I guess I forgot ^_^.

It starts at noon, but qualifying can begin at 10am if you wish to qualify early.

Sorry about the date, I obviously don't visit the site much.
