Welllllllll shit I guess I have to put in 3rdKv2 and then it's on to 5th mix!

I knew I should have checked the OP before playing yesterday so I knew what songs we were actually doing. I just sort of assumed it would be all the K-pop

All the k-pop, yes. It's just that not all the k-pop is in 4th Plus. :)

When you put 3rd VK2 in, don't forget to play Strictly Business Standard Double, too...unless you were planning on playing 1st or 2nd Mix. ;)

I put in 4th Plus last night and played through all the Korean songs in it. I added my scores as well as yours to the OP. I'm leading on all but Ba Kkwo. LET'S PLAY MORE!

Just got done playing again just a few minutes ago for a good hour or so just for funsies. SDG'd a bunch of easy old school singles charts and played Bu Dam which is one of the Korean songs I neglected to play.

Bu Dam - 28 greats, FC

I'll install 3rdKv2 tomorrow. I'll have to look up the code for vivid lolololol but I have that SSR code memorized from the good ol' days. <<<>>><><>

Vivid is <><<>><> on the pad.

SSR is also just <<<>>><> on the cabinet buttons. The last <> shouldn't be needed.

Don't forget that there are different unique/hidden songs depending on which character you select, though all of the Korean songs should be available regardless IIRC. You can also check out the "alternate" characters for each character option by hitting the down arrow during character select.

28 greats is a 546 DP. I updated the OP for you. I look forward to seeing all your jumptastic and drilltastic scores from the rest of the Korean songs.

I installed 3rdKv2 yesterday but could not get that gosh darn game to boot. After installing the mix and flipping the DIP 4 switch the game tries to load and then hangs with the message "BOOT CHECK" on the upper-left part of the screen. I've cleared the RTC memory and let the machine sit there on the BOOT CHECK screen for a solid 15 minutes but nothing happens. Any ideas of what the issue could be? Should I just try installing the mix again?

I installed 5th mix instead since I wasn't having any luck with 3rdKv2 and 5th mix worked without a problem. Is there anything from 5th that you'd like to play?

You can try installing 3rd VK2 again. Maybe it had an issue on the install. Maybe your Superdisc is bad for that mix. Who knows?

I played everything in 5th Mix. There's lots of great stuff! Pick anything. I probably already have a score for it, but I might decide to replay it if you trounce me. I played through that whole thing competing only against myself (and, for the harder stuff, just to complete my card).

How about that one song that's all like, "Come on baby do it to me good now do it to me slowwwwwwly / Girl ya wanna know meh / Do it to me right now!"

I think it's "Do it" by Atomic Kitten. Let's do that song it's been in my head for the last few days.

Atomic Kitten, yes. The song is "Right Now."

Sure, that's fine.

I added a score for Right Now to the OP. Do you want to stick with 5th Mix for this week or hop over to 4th? Whichever we do, let's stay there for a few weeks so we don't have to keep reinstalling.

Ok. Then let's get some Radical Faith up in this bitch for this week!

(P.S. - I think you'll have to enter the unlock code for Radical Faith to show up.)

Radical Faith sounds like a plan! I think the Doubles chart for that is not too bad if I remember.

Of course I could be confusing its chart with the Singles chart.

It's a great chart...it's just very dense and syncopated and there are no speed mods in 5th Mix.
