Ugh, the down arrow on my 2P side is fucking up. Gonna have to troubleshoot that one. I played this weeks songs but got a healthy amount of pad misses so I'm going to redo them.

Played a bunch of singles though and did my best to get a work out. I kinda want to put in Max2 and play some of the shit on there, especially the Oni courses - is there anyway we could do that next week or at the start of 2016? The convenience of the Superdisc means we can always switch back to 5th later

Ok. We can switch to MAX2 for the new year...if you promise to log some kind of score for the 5th Mix songs before we leave it. I just don't want to accumulate more TBDs before we move on.

To ramp up (since you're talking about about oni courses), do you want to do long version songs for the last week of the year?

Played for a little over an hour yesterday, the down arrow on my 2P side is still fucking up so it's really frustrating playing on doubles sometimes. I was able to eek out this though:

Tribal Dance: 11 greats, 2 misses (both were definitely pad misses)

Other than that I did hard shit and tried to play a hard 9 every set. It felt good! Even after all these years DDR is still a fun ass game.

I'll see what I can do about getting some long version scores on there, I have no idea how their charts go!

Welp, I played Paranoia Eternal on doubles yesterday and fell completely flat on my ass. That's the first time I've ever straight up fell while playing DDR. I've stumbled here and there when getting off/on the platform but never just completely beefed it. I hit the fuck out of my funny bone trying to catch myself on the bar.

Other than that I got 30 greats FC on Hot Limit singles - I thought that was pretty cool.

I barely played over the holidays. I think only once between Christmas and New Years...and only because some guests came over.

I did play some last night though. I logged some scores for The Twist and Tribal Dance. I'll post here in a bit.

Alright mother trucker, I know that neither of us have played all the 5th mix exclusives but did you want to switch it up and do the ol' Max2?

I know you've already switched. But aren't you going to have trouble playing doubles no matter which mix we're on?

I actually did play all the 5th Mix exclusives when we first put 5th in. But I've been replaying the ones we've actually chosen. I'd really like to at least get those scores from you so we don't end up with more TBDs in your column that never get filled. Pretty please?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh alright let me fix my pads, test them out with some Max2, and if shit is working again then I'll switch it back to 5th.

PS - I'm all for moving to MAX2. But it seems like you're going to need to fix your stage no matter what we do...unless you wanted to switch back to singles. We could do that, too...but I think we were both enjoying doubles.

Yeah doubles is good. I never got to play doubles when I played DDR in the arcade so it sort of makes for a new and exciting experience.

What's the status on the ol' machine? Have you been able to whip it back into shape for doubles?

I've been severely slacking the past month or so. I'd like to get back into a routine. Any chance we can get this going again this week?

Well it's funny you mention that because I think it's actually getting worse! My right arrow on the 1P side continues to be shit and now the down arrow is acting up. I didn't really get a chance to take it apart and really try to fix it. I'll see if mayyyyybe I can work on it this Wednesday.
