Gallons of his hot sauce are apparently being clearanced at Sam's Club for 91 cents. I think this is a regional item though, so don't expect to find it at any of our stores. Not that you should be going to Sam's Club anyway. Costco is where it's at, baby!

I guess regular price for this at Sam's Club is $8.63, and $9.95 on his currently downed website. So, it's pretty cheap stuff anyway. But 91 cents is still quite a huge markdown.

Has anyone ever actually tried his hot sauce? I still have the two bottles I ganked while we were in Iowa but I never opened them because of my crippling hoarder mentality.

I remember receiving a bottle at the Funspot tournament in 2009. But I honestly can't remember if I ever used it. So, either I share your hoarder mentality for vaguely meaningful trinkets I get on trips OR that hot sauce is so unremarkable that I don't even remember using it. I'll try to peek around in a couple places at home to see if I can find the bottle and see if it's open or still sealed.

What do you think is the shelf life on Billy Mitchell's sauce? Perhaps a little under 19 years?

I mean it's all just salt and spices I figured that shit would last forever!

I mean, you're probably not going to die if you eat it, but I'd imagine it has lost some of its potency (also the joke answer) and wouldn't taste the same as when it was new.

I had a bottle of Frank's that I kept a long time and its red-orange color started to fade toward yellow. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't as good and I ended up tossing the rest of the bottle. However, it was like the last 1/5 of a Costo-size bottle, so I'm sure it suffered plenty of air and light damage. If you've never opened your Billy Sauce, it may be just fine.

I guess Billy Mitchell is doing some sort of comeback tour and he's coming to Tappers later this year.

Kinda wanna get some of his hot sauce so I can try it out and still keep my little hot sauce trinkets as a memory of our good time in Iowa! I got one of my man titties fondeled by a fat black stripper on that trip and god damn it I don't want to forget it!
