Mr. Worm's Trek to Japan Photo Request Thread

Post by Mr. Worm »

As some of you may or may not know, I will be heading to Japan on 16 May for a school study trip.

Now, what I want is requests from you guys on what you what pictures you think I should take.

If you want pictures of special places from these cities:
Kansai International Airport (outside Osaka) -> Hiroshima -> Kyoto (with a daytrip to Nara) -> Tokyo (with a daytrip to Niko) -> Narita Airport (outside Toyko)

or if you want pictures proving or disproving common Japanese stereotypes, tell me here.

I plan to take as many pictures as humanly possible. I will then post 'em on a website so you can see. Places [Hiroshima Peace Memorial, Imperial Palace, etc.), people (policemen with white gloves, cute Japanese chicks *wink*), things (funny English signs, ramen, etc), you name it, and I'll do my best to take it.

Now please, try to keep this somewhat serious. I don't want, "japenese boobies plz lol," or 'GODZILA!!1!"

Thank you.

Godzilla.

And a picture of the tallest Japanese person you can find.

And Hell Kitty stuff. n_n LoL. Oh, wait, you're just taking pictures and not buying me stuff. Nevermind. n_x

But yeah. The other two are legit. ^-~

My school was so lame. We never took cool trips. Ever. We went to McMillan Health Center a lot, though (any of you Fort kids feeling my pain here?), probably because it was free or something.

I'm also curious to see one of these contraptions. I was over there 2 years ago, and couldn't find one. I found almost every other conceivable vending machine, but not that one.

If you're spending time in Tokyo, check out the Harajuku district. Interesting stuff around there, but I didn't get to spend near as much time as I'd like there.

Supposedly they clamped down on those particular vending machines using some obscure law designed to restrict the sale of antiques. I'll keep an eye out for one when I'm in Japan this spring though.

If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

oh oh oh if you see any of those stupid "riced out" cars that the japanese do where they make a wooden wing and basically a scoop on the front and paint their car like speed racer...those are silly...find me ghetto ones to laugh at.
