I do video stuff every now and then, and have worked with Cinelerra, Blender, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, and After Effects, in order of decreasing familiarity.
Wow, that's some damn good stuff you have up there, though that one that's just an animated walking girl confused the hell out of me.

Hahahaha don't worry :P It confused most of the AMV community as well. I still can't believe how long that thread became. I personally think it's quite genius :)

His newest video, urban suite, is so friggin bad ass. David I don't know if you listened to RDS Radio but you should've heard Julian singing your praises for that vid. Hehe

No need to bring up that this is a 1-month necropost. I didnt think it was really entirely necesarry to make a new thread to post this.

Tonight me and my friend Brian (not of Ho fame) did a video editing Iron Chef (we each have 2 hours to make a music video using a specific "ingredient"). Normally this is strictly an AMV (Anime Music Video) thing, but we decided to do live-action this time around. We also decided to both use the same source but different songs (usually its the same song but different sources). We put together a list of 6 songs and then each rolled a dice to see who got what song, and then we edited to it.

Our source for this match was Kill Bill Vol. 1 :)

Brian's song: RA - Parole
Video download: http://www.randomdestination.com/member ... Video1.avi

My song: Young Buck - Bang Bang
Video download: http://www.randomdestination.com/member ... Video2.avi

Both of these are encoded in XviD.

I ended up winning the match, 5 votes to 2 (we had 7 of our AMV friends judge the match).

i've been using Premiere forever for my game/anime music videos.
though, it's not the best software ever... i don't have an apple. :(
though not many people have seen them, i think i could host them on google video or something so you guys could take a look.

i'll be back with more info when i get it figured out.

Edit: also, some of them are really old. for example, the quality might not be the best in some of them, simply because when they were made, that's the best quality i could get out of the PC i was using. they're also this way to ease with file transferring.

Okay, here they come. i'll just edit this post as they get uploaded.

you just need a standard divx codec to watch these... the FFVII one may need a tsunami codec... look for it at divxdigest.com if it doesn't work right away.

Links removed temporarily....

VLC at videolan.org
open source to the rescue!

if that doesn't work with it use Mplayer, stuff that gets by vlc will usually work in this. I dont remember the site for it- google should turn it up.

You know, I really need more experience in this area. I'm happy to help anyone within an hour or so away, and have a bit of equipment to contribute if anyone is aspiring. PM or reply!
