Those words are so overused now. I'm not morally against using cuss words of course; who cares? But if your regular conversation is peppered with a cuss word or two in every sentence, you have nothing in 'reserve' to use in extreme circumstances. I'm not much of a cusser myself, so you know if I cuss it's rather important...

I think his counts are off. There are 292 posts with the word "damn" in it (this makes 293) according to the search function. He counted the number of topics (which could have multiple posts matching within them). Of course, each post could also have multiple instances of a particular word.

If you really must know, do search, configure it to return no text of the post, display posts (not topics), enter your word of choice, and have at it.

Well of course we have to use those words, everyone knows you arent serious if you dont say Damnit (294!). But yeah, everyone has gotten pretty free with the language. I dont see much of a problem with damnit, or like ass, but thats just me. Save it up like Jim, so that when you do use it, it makes a much greater impact.
