Guild Wars/FFXI, WoW special edition, etc.

Post by Riot »

Hey I'm going to college on the 24th and I want to sell crap.

I know some of you play these games, so if you have friends you'd like to get the game for, I'll sell my copies cheap.

Guild Wars: $20
FFXI: $10
I sold my WoW account, so I can't give you the disc and account info cuz I dunno what that'd do to the guy who bought it, but I want to sell the special edition soundtrack (actually very good), the big hardbound art book, the strategy guide, and whatever else is in it.

I'll also sell you Fallout/Fallout2 bundle for 5 bucks, awesome games =P

If anybody wants anything, I can meet you at Putt Putt or something and give it to you, and I'll haggle on prices if you're a hobo.

My girlfriend has been interested in getting Guild Wars, but didn't want to pay the hefty price for it new. Assuming that a used copy will work just fine, I bet she'd be interested in it. I'll run it by her when I see her tomorrow. Since I'm out of state, we'll have to discuss shipping as well.

I played it for like 20 hours, not using the discs or anything, just running it off my dekstop. No chance that discs got scratched up at all.

I'd buy Guild Wars off of you, but I'm on dial-up. >_<
No more eggs! :D
An actual signature will come soon, I suppose.

Guild Wars is supposed to be playable over a dialup. My father and sister both play it at the same time over our cable modem. While this alone doesn't say much, the fact that the total bandwidth utilization from it is around 64kbit does (in other words, you could almost cram two people onto a good dialup, easily onto a dual channel ISDN).
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Plus, it's not like a MMORPG where everyone is crammed into a city on one server, GW puts you into the least populated server and all adventuring areas are instanced, meaning it's just your party and nobody else. But still, I'm leaving tomorrow, so it's getting to be too late... :P

I am somewhat interested in guild wars as well. If everyone else before loses interest I would probably take it!

I'm sure he'd be okay with mailing it to you if he could find the zip code for "Penisland." XD
