Graffiti Art
I am trying to get tips and help with graffiti art. Just to clear things i am not a tagger, and do not do anything illegal, but i am looking for help and tips other than where to buy supplies.

Was just going to say this. XDOriginal Sin wrote:...I have a funny feeling Jeff will post here.
When I was at Borders the other day, there were a few art books of graffiti in the art section. I don't know what you mean by tips, but if you need some inspiration, those are really helpful, I'm sure.
But yeah, Mexican Ninja should be able to help you immensely.
No more eggs!
An actual signature will come soon, I suppose.

lol. I like it how people say I'm "good". I have like, three things that I'm not embarassed to claim as my own. One was buffed, one I don't have a pic of (and also may have been buffed), and one I have a pic of, which can be seen here:

Yeah, like I said, I'm not good. I'm better than before though, which isn't really saying much.
As for tips, bookmark this site:http://www.graffiti.org/ Check out Naces stuff. His billboard stuff is INSANE.
For books, cheak out Subway Art (Martha Cooper) and The Art of Getting Over (I think it's by Steven Powers) at your local library. Awesome stuff.
Most of all, just practice. Try to develope style instead of just putting the same tag everywhere *cough everyone in VIK cough*.
Oh, and go do something illegal every now and again. Just don't get caught. It's not fun.

I used to do a lot of bombing, used to
So yeah, if you ever see a Stylefile book, check that out, they sometimes have them in comic shops. I bought one in San Diego and it's amazing. The main graffiti site i would recommend would be bombingscience.com , It has a large store and tens of thousands of pictures from very talented bombers in Canada and Europe. http://bombingscience.com/world.htm is the link to the global page which has a lot of great stuff on it. Any further questions feel free to ask, hope this was helpful.
