'Tis a sad, sad thing indeed. Nick has become far too focused on cheap, massed produced crap lately. I men, hell, why'd they have to go and cancel Zim? Why?!

Agreed that Zim was an awesome show.

But... I happen to like some of the newer Nick shows. (I have a 10 year old and a 4 year old, and I'm an animation fan, so I have a right to watch Nick  ) Fairly Oddparents is quite clever sometimes, Jimmy Neutron isn't bad, and Spongebob is (no lie) one of my favorite shows, even as an adult.

Besides, my childhood nostalgia is for a totally different set of shows, since Nick didn't come out until I was almost a teen.

Land of the Lost? Now THERE'S A SHOW!

you guys are tying the wrong things together...the cartoons aren't affiliated with Nick Studios in Orlando, FL. They filmed the game shows in Nick Studios. They just like stopped making them so they had no reason to have the place open anymore. They really need to revive Wild & Crazy Kids because that was a very healthy game show for kids imo.

But did they have to get rid of the geyser?!?!??!?!? it was my childhood hero.

agreed, it encouraged kids to get outside and do more, instead of having commercials saying kids should go outside, they made going outside look like fun.

But you did have pinwheel

But to all, there is still hope

I remember going there and getting to be on whwhwhwhwhwhwhwhwhat would you do! HOW CAN THEY CLOSE THE PLACE DOWN? I remember getting to taste some slime and getting slimed and all that fun stuff. Every kid needed to experience Nick studios. It brought the magic from TV to life and was SO COOL. Wonder why it closed, it had to have been popular. Then again Nick lost Mark Summers and then quit making all the trivia game shows so they probably had nothing to shoot in it.

I blame it all on Mark Summers. Boycotting unwrapped from now on.

Let's go to Mo for the scores. MO!
Last time I saw Mark Summers was on the Food Network for some show.

Alright, I guess I should go digitize my old Nickelodeon tapes some time (if they're still readable at all). I know I had a 6 hour tape of Salute Your Shorts when they ran the finale, and I think I had the premiere of SNICK as well (which would have included the first episode of Roundhouse). I don't think I have any Welcome Freshmen, and I may only have one episode of Pete and Pete (it would likely be the premiere).

Rocko's Modern Life is still shown on TooNick (or whatever it's called) and I know GUTS, Nick Arcade, and Legend of the Hidden temple are on NICK GAS in the evening, along with a couple shows that predate me slightly.
A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Are You Afraid Of The Dark was actually pretty spooky. Anyone want to re-start the Midnight Society?
