some easier ones:
Cutie Chaser Morning Mix
Air (some of the crosses in the go unnoticed but if you stare at the stepchart long enough you might catch them)
Silent Hill (3rd Christmas Mix) I believe has some...
Sync heavy
Mobo*Moga has a few
I think Abyss has some also...

some harder ones:
Exotic Ethnic
Paranoia Rebirth
Luv 2 Me Disco Mix
V oni
Afronova (kinda)

that's all i can think of right now...

Thanks so much! I'll try those songs the next time I get a chance.

Oh and if anyone who reads this was at the PIU tourney in Bloomington on Saturday, good job! I only went to watch for a little bit, but I enjoyed it! PIU is so hard for me, the diagonal arrows screw me up so much!

You should just keep trying PIU :D it took me a week but now I'm on the borderline between hard and crazy (but no PIU machine within a 100 mile radius :( ) But I thoroughly enjoy it.

I still think RnP is one of the best songs to learn crossovers...

yeah...I agree...they are tricky...I want to learn the tricky crossovers so that when I see other crossovers in other songs, they will come to me easily.

YAY! I'm on Light now!

Does anyone happen to know when the DDR-A-Thon 5 is coming around? Or if it will come around at all? I won't win, but I'd sure be willing to give it (the competition...not winning) a try!

I think this song and Can't Stop Falling in Love are probably the biggest crossover songs, and even heavier onto you hit harder songs like PSMO ( I have yet to pass)

Just work on crossing over on your pad at home and then try at the arcade and the song will be cake.

roflmao....not NEARLY ready for PSMO. I can't even pass a lot of the 9 footers. I can't even pass Max 300. I have a long way to go. Give me like 5 years and MAYBE I'll pass PSMO with like a D.

I don't have my own pad. My boyfriend does though. I've been practicing at the arcade.

I was pretty happy...I got an A on Japan. That song is pretty hard...I mean, the song isn't hard, but it just exhausts me....with all those gallops and the speed of the song.

Tried Waka Laka....failed it...but I got through a good portion of the song. I'm really not disappointed....especially since it was like my last stage when the missed notes count more against your life bar.

I also tried Irresistiblement. That went well too...I forget what I got on it, maybe a B.

DDR = best workout of all time. w00t.

About crossovers: a good song to try it is Boom Boom Dollar (K.O.G G3 Mix) on Standard. This has a few crossovers on Heavy but standard is also hard and has a big sequence of them. Of course Can't Stop Fallin' In Love Speed Mix 2, but that's really easy. About Cartoon Heroes: I play every song on 1x, but this I play on 1.5x, because it helps me distinguish between the gallops and double steps. I first passed it about 2-3 weeks ago and now I've got it down to 8 non-combo steps. But Cartoon Heroes is one of the hardest 9s, so if you're having trouble with RnP, you might wanna learn a few songs in between the two.

one question, one comment:
1). How hard is Boom Boom Dollar on Standard?
2) Yeah, I played at the IMU with a class friend who's like lightyears better than me, and we did RnP...totally failed it again. Yeah, I've def seen my boyfriend play Cartoon Heroes before...it does look hard. I guess I'm shooting for the hard ones, cuz I figure if I nail those, then a lot of the other songs will be a breeze. I've AAed Cartoon Heroes on Standard!

Katy *hearts* crossovers :D when they aren't freakin hard anyways like in RnP. lol.

RnP trips me up so much....more so at the beginning than the end.

<--- Kyler, in case you didn't know.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Absolute Heavy yet. There are a lot of good crossovers to practice in that song. I'm sure you can beat that song, but you might not know that nearly the entire chart can be done without double-stepping AND without facing away from the screen. It makes for some good practice I think. I always make a note to play it whenever I DO play DDR at an arcade because it's oodles of fun when you don't double-step. Same with Tears Heavy, but uhh... that might be a bit harder for you at the moment. >_>

A harder example would be Saint Goes Marching Heavy. If I recall, it has some crossovers sorta like RnP, but I think it's more fun and less tedious/energy consuming. Plus it has some nifty fun gallops to boot. Just watch out for the crazy spinny bit after the slowdown and speedup. Double-step that crap. 'Fo rizzle.

Yes I know who you are 8)

I've passed Absolute on Heavy...I really like that one for some reason. Maybe I just have this attachment to crossovers. Who knows. Mike and I have done Tears together...I think...or maybe it was True that we did. We've done either one of the two or both. More than likely I haven't passed either yet.

Ha...yeah, something tells me I've done Saints Go Marching...can't think of when it was though. Yeah, Mike says that I should pass Daikenkai...but that song is like so much double stepping, unless there is a handy dandy way of doing it that Mike isn't telling me. lol. Your thoughts Kyler?

A lot of the steps BEFORE the speedup you can do without doublestepping. However, after the speedup and towards the end of the song, trying to not doublestep that section will probably lead to failure. It's a bunch of spinny combinations comparible to End of the Century, if I recall. Sometimes you just gotta doublestep. *insert sad panda face here*
