This is what I'm confused by - why are there requirements on you beyond what would be imposed on a bunch of people just coming in and playing? Is he going to close the machine to non-tourney participants, or is he going to be open during unusual hours or something?

Yeah, I thought it was pretty weird, too... but I distinctly remember something like that.

However, apparently those were their winter hours - their summer hours are 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday & Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. other days.

So yeah, why the heck isn't this on a weekend?

P.S.: I like your avatar too, Ho, though it takes some getting used to - it's a stylistic contrast to the others you've been using recently.

ok look. you are all starting to get on my nerves. I posted this because i figured some of you would enjoy a friendly tournament. BUT APARENTLY I WAS WRONG!! If you dont like the idea then STOP FREAKING POSTING IN THIS TOPIC/THREAD!!! NO ONE ASKED ANYONE TO BE NEGATIVE AOBUT THIS TOURNAMENT AND I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER NEGATIVE WORD ABOUT IT!! We have to charge what we do because then we couldnt have the tournament if we didnt. GET OVER IT! WE dont care who comes anymore. I AM SORRY I EVEN SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT TO ANYONE ON THIS FORUM ANYWAY!!!
Next Tournament in December when there will be big payoffs I wont invite your asses and then I wont have to freaking care!!

Seriously you asked for it even trying to hold a tournament. You have absolutely no idea how to run one, nor the complications taht can arrise from trying to predetermine songs. You are basing your winners off scores which is absolutely idiotic for many reasons. Shit me and Matt or Shannon could easily go there, and prove to you how flawed it is.

Seriously though Kasey (Btw your name is spelled the girl's way) how many tournaments for DDR have you ever been in, not including the shit one you guys already held, or didn't that get canceled?

I've won more tournaments than anybody on this board, and have attended more than anyone here also, and your piece of shit will just be another easy, demoralizing win. You won't know who I am till afterwards when the tournament is over and I discuss with you all how much you suck at life

And btw douche bag, we weren't trying to be negative, as we mentioned many a time, we were simply trying to tell you that you have no fucking clue how to run a tournament and we were trying to give suggestions.

Anyway, if anyone's coming out, I'll see you there. If nobody is, for the love of God, host your own tournament. Half the fun of going to a tournament is to travel to it and play. I'd like to see one at Rascal's, or Gameworks or something.

Seriously, Indiana lacks in DDR, as well as the rest of the world. It would be nice if people started it up again.

I will state the truth when I say that Casey had probably the most entertaining, but also most dead on post on here. My honest opinion is that in the long run I was happy that Casey went to the Muncie tournament cause it showed the truth that most members of MuncieDDR were flakes as they didn't even have the balls to enter into their own local tournament even though it was to raise money to help start a DDR group at Ball State. Shortly after that MuncieDDR started crumbling and eventually died cause of the numerous flakes in the area!

After looking at Team Kokomo's site I have to think that history is about to repeat itself and I'm thinking about going to this tournament just to watch. To Kasey@DDRKokomo who decided to badmouth the majority of IndyDDR I say that you went entirely too far. While my main game of choice is IIDX and as such it's my main stomping grounds on this forum most of the people who I talk to are pretty cool so you should reconsider your comments.

I was GOING to go, but since I'm apparently, too stuck up, and selfish to care(which BTW is FAR from the truth. Try to get to know people first, slick), I guess there's no need to because I'd pretty much make all of YOU look like little pussies, right?

People try to give you a few suggestions and what the fuck do you do? Blow up on them like a certain other fourm hippie that shall remain nameless.

Who ever told you that you absolustey HAD to follow anyone's advice(and yes, that's all it was. What to handle the situation, idiot!)? No one. It's YOUR tourney. Run it the way YOU want. Fuck everyone else and do what YOU want. Stop trying to please people and just do it YOUR way. If no one likes it, oh well. Wudeva. That's all I have to say.
