At exactly 2 am, we (Mike, Katy, Cbav, and I) got done playing a card game. Katy and Mike wanted to sleep, but I was thirsty, and Cbav was wired on Red Bull, so Cbav and I left the hotel in search of drink.
There was a McDonald's about 50 feet to the left of our hotel, so we put some shoes on, took a key, and headed out. However, unlike some other McDonald's, this one closed at 1 am on Friday night. The lights were still on. I was NOT satisfied. It occured to me when I read the sticker on the hours. "Drive-Thru open all nite."
So, Cbav and I walked around to the drive-thru, and I walked like I was driving some sort of invisible car, with my arms stiff out in front of me. We stood in front of the order box for about a minute, before we gave up, and started to leave. Then, the voice started talking.
It turns out, even though NOBODY was in the drive-thru, they can't serve you at the drive-thru...if you don't have a car. I was NOT satisfied.
So, rejected and thirstier, I saw a gas station about 250 yards off in the distance. We crossed the interstate twice to get to it, walking on foot down dark alleys. We finally got there, and filled up on Code Red and Hostess Donettes. I WAS satisfied.
So...I guess in a roundabout way of answering...we were up that late...>_>

I wouldn't mind going both thursday and friday.
