SWIMMERS have no life. You wake up at 4:15 in the morning...go to morning practice scheduled at 5am...swim until about 7:30am....go to college/school...have weight training and stretching from 1-2:30pm....swim from 3-5pm, go to evening classes (if you are a college student), and pass out.BigBadOrc wrote:lol i know, i hate when people are like that! it's like, if you're good at something it means you have no life. it's like, "yeah man.. i wish i could be cool and suck at everything like you :O"Jeff Jeff Revolution wrote: Random Person: THAT GUY IS GOOD! GAME PLAYERS have lives, you see. Arcades don't even open til like 10am or so...you play for like however long you want...go home or go to school and still have time to play more games or do something else if you want.

that is a crazy amount of time spent swimming. i don't understand it - it seems like you would improve faster if you spent less time. can you imagine playing ddr for 4+ hours per day, 6 days a week!?
i always heard that the recovery period was just as important as the training - you gotta eat right and rest up or you'll be overtraining.
